CREST 7.0 unveils ‘Mergermania’, a M&A frenzy event, where you can now know how good is your valuation. You will get the opportunity to get your investment banking pitches judged by esteemed industry experts and seasoned faculty with rich academic and corporate experience. Get the chance of being part of this event by clearing the first hurdle-preliminary quiz on finance.

Structure of Event

Round 1. “Build your Strategy” Case – is a strategic thinking competition where you have to analyse a business case and answer the given questions.
Round 2. Campus finalist – Present case on campus

Rules & Guidelines

** Students pursuing Management courses (MBA, PGPM, PGDM etc.) can participate
** Eligible students must form team of 2 or 3. All the members should be from the same institute.
** Teams must designate a ‘Team Leader’ and register a team name with CREST 7.0 Mergermania.
** The ‘Team Leader’ will be the single source of contact for all future communication with regards to the competition.
** The registration by the team will be considered as a formal acceptance of the terms and conditions of the competition.
** There is NO registration fee.
** The decisions of the judges will be final.
** Prizes will be awarded to top two teams.

Round 1 (Online Quiz):
Registered teams will participate in the screening round which is an online quiz to showcase their acumen for financial knowledge (bane/boon) around the globe including recent M&A deals with a tint of corporate finance and financial accounting.

Round 2 (On-Campus Finals):
** Teams based on shortlist from Round 1 will be called for the final round of the event to be held on 15th February,2018 to pitch their analysis on given M&A deal.
** Depth of Analysis, Industry and Technical Expertise, Presentation Skills will be counted for final evaluation.

Prizes

Prizes worth INR 12,000/- will be awarded to the Winners and INR 8,000/- to the First Runners-Up.

** Registration Ends – 11:59 PM 30th January 2018
** Round 1 ( Online Quiz) – 10:00 PM 1st February 2018
** Result of Round 1 declared – 01:00 PM 3rd February 2018
** Round 2 (Final Round) – On 15th February 2018
