Sony MIX Audience Music Awards Voting

The “MIX Audience Music Awards Voting” (“Activity”) will be hosted on “audiencemusicawards.sonymix.tv” (“Platform”) for the for the viewer(s) (“Voter(s)”) who wish to participate in the Activity.

You played your favorite music on loop. Now, it’s time for you to vote for it and show your love.

Activity

Sony MIX and Sony ROX HD, would like to bring in the viewers to vote for their favourites in different categories of Hindi Film music in 2017 and award the most voted artist, music video or album. The awards will be a shoot based interstitial where a host will visit the winners to give-away the award trophy.

There will be 4 nominations (chosen from polls on social media) in each of the below categories :
** Best Playback Singer (Male)
** Best Playback Singer (Female)
** Best Song
** Best Non-Film Song
** Best Lyricist
** Best Album
** Best Music Video
** Best Bollywood Remix
** Best Duet

Voters who fulfill the Eligibility criteria can vote through the Voting mechanism stated below for their favorite nominee from every category. The Top 4 nominees from every category shall be shortlisted for the next round of voting which shall be on-air on channel “Sony MIX” (“Channel”).

Voting Mechanism

Voter(s) who fulfill the Eligibility criteria stipulated below shall be entitled to vote in the Activity.
Phase 1 : Voting on the Platform – Voter can submit his or her vote by using their existing Facebook login-IDs.

Phase 2 : Voting by giving missed call – Viewers can see the promo clip / aston band and missed call numbers on the Channel for the various categories and nominees.

Viewer can give a missed call on the desired numbers to vote for their favorite entry in each award category. A confirmation text message will be sent to every viewer who casts a vote by giving a missed call.

Final Category Winner Selection : The winner in every category will be selected based on the highest votes received in Phase 2.

Capping Rules : Voters can vote as per the instructions stated herein. Each voter will be allowed to submit one vote per category in Phase 1 & one vote per nomination in Phase 2. Any further votes for the same category will not be considered.

Eligibility

Indian residents who have attained age of 18 years and above as on the start date of the Activity are only eligible for the purpose of voting.

The employees of Sony Pictures Networks India Private Limited (the “Company”) and affiliates, subsidiaries, assignees, representatives and the immediate families of the Company as well as the subsidiaries that are sponsoring and/or promoting the Activity are not eligible or allowed to vote in the Activity.

General Terms & Conditions

** Total score of the nominees will be determined basis votes received from the Voters.
** The Company will not be responsible for any failure, delays / non-availability / downtime of the voting service or any other technical or non-technical issue that prevents the voting or interrupts with the voting service.

** Server time of the Company will be taken as reference for start and close of voting.
** Voter(s) of the Show agree(s) that he/she shall hold harmless the Company, its directors, employees, officers, affiliates or representatives in connection with the Voting.

** Non-conformance to any of these Rules and Regulations and/or other instructions as specified by the Company by any Voter may result in immediate disqualification of his/her vote.

** Any attempt by any Voter(s) to manipulate the aforementioned Voting mechanism by circumventing any technological measures or by using any other dubious means shall result in immediate disqualification of his/her vote and the Company shall have the discretion to initiate such legal proceedings including criminal proceedings as necessary in this regard.

** The Company reserves all rights to make amendments to the existing rules without prior notice.
