Terms and Condition:
1. #QuickQuakerRecipes contest (‘Contest’) is brought to you by PepsiCo India Holdings Private Limited (‘Organizer’).
2. The Contest is open to all Indian citizens of 18 years of age or above having a valid Facebook or Twitter or Instagram account, residing in India except the employees of Organizer and their family members, Organizer’s associate companies, its bottlers, its joint venture partners, its co-packers, its distributors, its agents, its advertising and promotional agencies and its auditors and their associate companies (‘Participant’).
3. Contest is valid from 12th October, 2015 till 16th November, 2015 (“ Contest Period”). The Organizer may in its absolute discretion curtail or extend the Contest Period, as it deems necessary without any liability whatsoever; and no communication in this regard will be entertained.
4. By participating in this Contest, a Participant unconditionally and irrevocably accepts and agrees to be bound by all these terms and conditions as stated herein at all times without any exception whatsoever.
5. No purchase or consumption of Organizer’s products is necessary to participate in the Contest.
6. Organizer will be posting recipe videos on its social media pages on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/quakerindia) hereinafter referred to as “ Facebook Page”, Twitter (https://twitter.com/QuakerIndia/) hereinafter referred to as “ Twitter Page”, Instagram instagram.com/quaker_india/)hereinafter referred to as “ Instagram Page”, Youtube https://www.youtube.com/quakerindia?cbrd=1&ucbcb=1 hereinafter referred to as “ Youtube Page” and the website of Quaker (www.quaker.co.in) hereinafter referred to as “ Website”
7. To participate in the Contest, the Participant has to follow the steps as detailed herein below:
a) Participant wanting to submit their entries through Facebook Page/ Instagram Page / Twitter Page shall like the Facebook Page/ follow the Instagram Page / follow the Twitter Page, as the case may be.
b) Participants are required to send in a photograph or video of their recipe, along with method of preparation, containing healthy ingredients and high value of nutrition.
c) The recipes can be sent via the following methods:
i. Email to recipes@quaker.co.in, or
ii. Posting on Facebook Page, or
iii. Posting on Twitter Page, or
iv. Posting on Instagram Page, or
v. Submitting on the Website
d) Eligibility criteria for valid entries is as follows –
i. Recipe entry must be submitted/posted with the hashtag “#QuickQuakerRecipes”, irrespective of the media platform it is submitted/posted on.
ii. Recipe entry must have healthy ingredients.
iii. The duration of the video shall not be more than 2 minutes.
8. Only the recipes complying with the conditions mentioned in Clause 7 above shall qualify for the Contest and shall hereinafter be referred to as ‘Valid Recipe’ or ‘Valid Recipes’, as the case may be.
9. The decision of the Organizer with regard to validity of the recipe shall be final and no claim or communication with respect to that post by the Participant shall be entertained by the Organizer.
10. It is strictly prohibited to upload content (picture/text/video.any other content) of any kind that contain expressions of hate, abuse, offensive images or conduct, obscenity, pornography, is sexually explicit or against any religious sentiments or against any caste, creed or race or any material, which is offensive to women or any material that could give rise to any civil or criminal liability under applicable law or regulations or that otherwise may be in conflict with these Terms and Conditions or the Advertising Code. It is also clarified that any entry which, in the reasonable opinion of the Organizer, is obscene, offending or hurtful shall be rejected immediately; and appropriate action will be taken against the said Participant.
11. Participant, without any exception and at all times during the Contest Period shall follow all instructions given by the Organizer in its entirety. Any failure to comply with the instructions of the Organizer will result in the disqualification of the post/submission made by the Participant.
12. The Participant sending the recipes after the Contest Period will not be eligible for the Prize (as defined hereinafter).
13. A Participant can participate multiple times in the Contest during the Contest Period, but can be selected as a Chef of the Week or Winner (as defined hereinafter) only once.
14. At the end of each week of the Contest Period, all Valid Recipes will be reviewed by an independent judge, and 3 (Three) Valid Recipes will be shortlisted from the Valid Recipes received during each week, on the basis of the following:
a. Presentation
b. Method of preparation
c. Nutritional value
d. Usage of oats
e. Type of ingredients used
The independent judge reviewing and selecting the weekly Valid Recipes will be a subject matter expert and possess necessary qualifications to judge the above parameters. The Participants submitting/posting these shortlisted Valid Recipes, will hereinafter be referred to as “ Chef of the Week”. The total Chefs of the Week will amount to 15 (Fifteen), i.e. 3 (Three) for each week of the Contest Period.
15. The Chefs of the Week chosen by the independent judge shall be final and binding and no communication or claims will be entertained in this regard.
16. The total of 15 (Fifteen) Chefs of the Week will be further judged on the same criteria as above at the end of the Contest Period, by the same independent judge and a total of 3 (Three) winners will be chosen from amongst the Chefs of the Week (“ Winners”).`
17. Declaration of Chefs of the Week and Winners:
The Chefs of the Week will be declared on Website, Facebook Page, Twitter Page, Youtube Page, Instagram Page on the Wednesday of every week after the first week of the Contest Period.
The Winners will be declared on Website, Facebook Page, Twitter Page, Youtube Page, Instagram Page within 5 days from the end of the Contest Period.
18. Each Winner will win a trip for two people (one of whom shall mandatorily be the Winner) for 2 (two) days and 3 (three) nights, to Kerala for a stay at a health and spa resort. Subject to clause 26, the trip would include the expenses for air tickets and stay at the spa resort only (“ Prize”). The choice of the airline, spa resort, dates of travel, time of travel will be at the sole discretion of the Organizer, and no requests or communication from the Winners will be entertained by the Organizer in this regard.
19. Other than the Winners, each of the remaining 12 (Twelve) Chefs of the Week (“ Voucher Winners”) will win 1 (one) ClearTrip e-Gift Voucher of INR 7000 (Rupees Seven Thousand only), which can be redeemed at _www.cleartrip.com (“ Voucher Prize”).
20. The names of all Winners and Voucher Winners will be showcased on the Facebook Page, Twitter Page, Instagram Page, Youtube Page and the website of Quaker
21. The Winners will be contacted by the representatives of the Organizer through direct message/inbox message to their Facebook/Instagram/Twitter account, or on their email id as provided to Organiser while participating through email or Website.. The Winner shall provide his/her details i.e. current residential address, valid contact no., email id (if contacted on Facebook/Twitter/Instagram), documents such as Photo-ID proof, residence proof, PAN card / Original Form no.60., and/or such other documents as may be requested by the Organizer/its representatives. Such information and documents shall be provided to the Organizer within 3 days from the declaration of the Winner.
The Winner would be contacted thrice over a period of 48 hrs. In case the Winner does not respond with the required details, or is not reachable or the Prize cannot be redeemed by him for any reason whatsoever, the Organizer will reserve the right to pass on the Prize to another Participant, chosen by the independent judge as per the criteria mentioned above, without any further notice to the Winner. Award of Prize is subject to the verification of the Winner’s identity and his/her documents by the Organizer.
22. The Voucher Winners will be contacted by the representatives of the Organizer through direct message/inbox message to their Facebook/Instagram/Twitter account, or on their email id as provided to Organiser while participating through email or Website.. The Voucher Winner shall provide his/her details i.e. valid contact no., email id (if contacted on Facebook/Twitter/Instagram). Such information and documents shall be provided to the Organizer within 3 days from the declaration of the Voucher Winner.
The Voucher Winners would be contacted thrice over a period of 48 hrs. In case the Voucher Winner does not respond with the required details or is not reachable or the Voucher Prize cannot be redeemed by him/her for any reason whatsoever, the Organizer will reserve the right to pass on the Voucher Prize to another Participant, chosen by the independent judge as per the criteria mentioned above, without any further notice to such Voucher Winner. The new Voucher Winner in such a case will be contacted and verified via telephone and/or email, as per this Clause.
23. No request for change or up-gradation of the Prize shall be entertained by the Organizers.
24. The Winner will need to confirm the participation within 24 hours of the intimation received by the Winner. No request for change in the itinerary, flight, resort spa, dates etc. shall be entertained by the Organizer.
25. If the Winner fails to take the trip for availing the Prize, even after confirming on the date specified by the Organizer, the Prize will be forfeited in its entirety or may be passed on to the next Winner at the discretion of the Organizer.
26. All costs specifically and directly relating to flight travel from the nearest airport from Winner’s residence, boarding and lodging, for 2 (two) nights and 3 (three) days for the Winner and one companion, will be borne by the Organizer. All other expenses not expressly included above, but not limited to food, sightseeing, and any insurance charges, will not be borne by the Organizer or any other agency on Organizer’s behalf, and will be the sole responsibility of the Winner.
27. Organizer shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or any other liability to the Winner, arising out of the trip to the Event, for which the Winner may be required to sign an indemnity in favour of Organizer. The adherence to the Organizer’s policies, shall in no way absolve the Winner from following the rules and regulations mandated to be followed by the guests of the spa resort. The Winner shall also be solely liable to follow all laws, rules, regulations, codes of conduct and other policies applicable to him/her/them during their travel and stay in Kerala.
28. Organizer shall not be liable for any cancellations and/or delays including but not limited to the transport arrangements, stay arrangements including but not limited to force majeure and/or logistical problems. The Winner shall not have any claim against Organizer for the same and shall be deemed to have availed of his/her Prize. Organizer shall not be responsible for any such eventuality and the Winner and his/her companion undertake not to claim any compensation from Organizer for the same.
29. Dates when the Winner shall travel are at the sole discretion of the Organizer.
30. Decision of Organizer will be final and binding with regard to Contest and Prizes and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
