Cuisine Compass:
Hey foodies, time to pamper your taste-buds and flaunt your blogging skills at the festival of flavors – the foodpanda Cuisine Festival. If you are a food blogger or wish to be one. If you consider yourself a trend setter or you already are a celebrity in your own world. Here’s your opportunity to showcase your creative bent – the writing talent!
To be a part of the contest, all you need to do is:
[b][u]1. Visit cuisinefestival.foodpanda.in/ and order the food of your choice from the Cuisine of the Week menu.
2. Write a blog post about:
** Your experience of relishing the dish. Better if you add some mouth-watering images clicked by you or videos shot by you.
** What you like about the Cuisine, and the dish in particular.
** Why you chose that dish over other delish dishes.
** Tell us more about your favorite dish from the Cuisine of the Week.
** Tweet the link of your blogs on twitter – tagging @foodpandaindia, and inbox us on Facebook. Use Hashtag: #CuisineCompass.
3. Submit the blog post URL below.

Each week, the most interesting submission will be rewarded with a fantastic Microsoft Lumia Smartphone
Dates & Eligibility:
The “Cuisine Compass” (the “Contest”) begins on October 20, 2015 and ends at one minute before midnight on November 23, 2015, Indian Standard Time. The contest has 5 parts and 5 winners (each in sync with the cuisine of the week on foodpanda Cuisine Festival website: cuisinefestival.foodpanda.in/) foodpanda.in (the “Host”) may change the dates and/or terms of the Contest without prior notice. The Contest is open to food bloggers. Bloggers must indicate the URL of their blog when submitting a post. Each participating blogger is allowed to submit one article.
How To Enter:
Participants may enter the Contest by uploading their blog post and at least one picture to their personal blog and submitting the link to the blog post to foodpanda via submitting the form at <URL> and Tweeting the URL to @foodpandaindia using #CuisineCompass.
All entries must be received within the contest duration timeline.
Requirements For Blog Posts:
Language:
** The submitted blog post must be written in English.
** The post should be submitted as a link to the blog post.
Length:
Written posts: Maximum of 350 words
Video posts: Maximum of five (3) minutes
Style:
** Posts must be written/filmed in the spirit of the blogging philosophy -a personal account of a food trend experience.
** Photographs (for written articles): at least one, with a caption as well as a photo credit, if applicable, must be supplied with each photo.
** Topic: Eligible articles must describe:
** Your experience of relishing the dish.
** What you like about the Cuisine, and the dish in particular.
** Why you chose that dish over other delish dishes.
** More about your favorite dish from the Cuisine of the Week.
Procedure And Rules:
I. Conduct:
By entering the Contest, the participant agrees with and is bound by the Official Rules. Failure to comply with these Rules may result in disqualification from the Contest. The entrants further agree to comply with and to be bound by the decisions of the judges, which are final and binding in all respects.
II. Selection of the winner:
The winner will be chosen by a jury composed of members of the foodpanda Social Media Team on the basis of originality, style and photographs included in the article.
III. Prizes:
The 5 winners will each receive a Microsoft Lumia smartphone (make and model to be decided by foodpanda Social Media team)
IV. Obligations of the Host:
foodpanda.in will issue 1 vouchers worth Rs.350 each to each participant. The vouchers will be then used by the participants to order food via foodpanda.in to describe them in the blog post. foodpanda.in will publish a short excerpt about the winners that were considered outstanding by the jury. The excerpt will include the name of the author as well as the name and the link of the blog.
To enhance the program and the guest blogs, foodpanda.in will publicize them with its social media tools.
V. Conditions/Restrictions:
The prize is not redeemable for cash or credit.
VI. Winner’s obligations:
The winner agrees to write one blog post as per the contest theme and to provide them to the Host.
VII. Release:
By entering “the Contest” and/or accepting the prize, entrants/prize winners agree to:
(a) be bound by these rules;
(b) waive any right to claim ambiguity in the Contest or these Official Rules. By accepting the prize, winner further acknowledges that the Host and any other entity involved with this Contest have neither made, nor are in any manner responsible or liable for, any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied in fact or in law, relative to the prize or prize suppliers or to any portion thereof, including but not limited to its quality, merchantability, mechanical condition, or fitness for a particular purpose including, without limitation, use of any equipment associated with the prize.
In the event that the chosen winner refuses to accept the prize, said prize will be awarded to the article judged second-best by the jury and so on until a winner accepts the award. All participants agree to be bound by these Official Contest rules.
VIII. Rules:
Any violation of these rules will result in disqualification. Host reserves the right to modify these Official Rules for clarification purposes without materially affecting the terms and conditions of the Contest.
IX. Winners List:
The winner will be notified by email by the Host. The 5 winner posts and their authors will be named and published on the foodpanda.in social media platforms.

** One (1) week duration to post submission on your blog.
** Best post wins prize! Make a difference, be creative.
