Speak for India is an initiative by Federal Bank in association with The Times of India Group to encourage young, dynamic and enthusiastic minds across the nation to raise their voice on pertinent issues and play the role of change maker in society.

Who Can Participate?
The competition is open for all college students who are currently studying in any of the colleges in the state of Karnataka or Maharashtra or Tamil Nadu for the respective editions
How Can I Join?
You can join by registering a form from this site. the registration is only for limited time. Before registering you have to read the terms and conditions and FAQ to get better understanding about the program. The registration is only for college students who are studying in Maharastra, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu
Registration
All registrations will take place through our website, www.speakforindia.com. Please pay attention to register before Last Dates, There is no fee to take part in the competition. It is totally free.
Competition Topic
The topics will be disclosed only at the time of the competition.
Prizes
Prizes include cash and scholarships.
Competition Date & Venue
The dates and venue will be officially announced through our Facebook page and website and the selected participants will get a notification mail.
Contest Terms
** The contest is open to all college students who are currently studying in any of the colleges in the state of Maharashtra, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
** The contestants can choose their preferred language between English and Kannada for Karnataka Edition; English, Hindi and Marathi for Maharashtra Edition; English and Tamil for Tamil Nadu Edition respectively.
** The contestants should submit a “Letter of Consent” from the College Principal and the true copies of supporting documents to justify the credentials furnished during the online registration.
** The results declared by the organizers at each level will be final and no further queries, complaints or disputes will be entertained. The organizers are further not obliged to respond to the same.
** The organizers reserve the right to change/ modify the terms and conditions of this competition or to withdraw this contest at any point in time, in case of any circumstances beyond their control.
** There is no participation fee.
** The selection for district level screening and elimination rounds is based on the credentials and previous experiences as submitted by you during the online registration.
** Participants are liable for disqualification if the details submitted in the registration form are found to be untrue or false
** The organizers are not responsible for the participant not being able to understand the contest mechanics, or for his/ her interpretation of the same.
** The organizers shall not be liable to make any payment towards any expense, which is incurred by the participant/ winner whatsoever.
** All taxes, if any, relating to participants and/ or winner will be borne by the participants’ and/ or winners alone, and the organizers shall not be liable to bear the same.
** By entering the contest, the participant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.

I want to know, when will the selected candidates list be announced.
I am from Tamilnadu. I had registered for Speak for India debate & selected a Tamil language to speak. Do I have to speak in pure Tamil (or) normal?
