Tech Spark App Development Challenge :
** ICT Academy of Tamil Nadu, is an initiative of the Government of India, Government of Tamil Nadu and Industry, a not for profit organization focusing to improve the quality of students passing out of institutions, thereby creating a new generation of talent pool.

** ICTACT is conducting the ICTACT Tech Spark, An Innovative App Development Challenge for students and fresh graduates to develop concepts for mobile, desktop or web apps that could solve a social problem/innovate a business model/provide a new business solution/address a business problem or quite simply be a game that can get people hooked.
** It’s a unique opportunity for students and fresh graduates to combine, collaborate and provide path breaking solutions that showcases critical thinking, problem solving, time management, entrepreneurship as well as hardcore knowledge in coding.
** All the submissions are judged on merit and ideas are acknowledged and awarded without any bias. It aims is to identify and motivate students and fresh graduates with skills and help them succeed in their future endeavors.
** This challenge will identify the top 3 apps shortlisted by the expert panel and they will be awarded in ICTACT Youth Digital Summit which is be to held at Chennai on 23rd January 2016.
** Also ICTACT will facilitate top 3 winners for mentoring, incubation and funding.
** Through this unique initiative, ICTACT aims to create an impact among the student community and motivate them to come up with unique ideas and solutions.

ICTACT Tech Spark App Challenge is open for full-time students enrolled under UG and PG courses across India in the any stream Passed out in 2014 students also applicable for ICTACT Tech Spark 2015

ICTACT Tech Spark App Challenge does not constrain apps to any platform. Mobile, Web or desktop apps using any technology can be developed

** Registration Opens November 16 2015
** Last date to apply online January 02 2016
** Last date to mail/email the supporting documents January 02 2016
** Selection of nominations for final Presentation Januray 09 2016
** Announcement of winners January 23 2016
Judging Criteria :
An eminent jury of Industry experts would judge your projects based on specific criteria. The judges will typically be looking for the innovation of your idea, analysis of your idea/project, the problem it solves, the business case, how you will make it happen, viability and your presentation.
Submission Guidelines :
** Fill the online nomination Form and Generate PDF of the filled in Form
** Send the soft copy of nomination form duly attested by head of the institution contest@ictact.co.in (mention “ICTACT Innovative App Challenge 2015” in the subject line)
** An internal committee will scrutinize all the nomination forms as per the evaluation criteria, shortlist the candidates and forward the same to the Awards Committee.
** Short listed candidates shall be required to make presentation/demonstration before the Awards Committee. While they come for presentation they should carry the nomination form attested by their respective principal
** The winners as selected by the Awards Committee will be awarded at ICTACT Youth Digital Summit 2015-16 – Chennai Edition.
