Aim :
** India Gold 2015 section of the 17th Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival will present the best crop of Indian fiction feature films from all the Indian languages produced after September 01, 2014, in a competition format.
Application Last Date : August 10, 2015
** The aim is to present new Indian films of great merit to the Indian audience and international guests and provide a platform for promotion and networking possibilities.
Selection :
** Mumbai Academy of Moving Image (MAMI)chaired by the Indian Filmmaker Kiran Rao is responsible for inviting films to take part in the India Gold 2015 competition.
Eligible :
a)Feature length fiction Films in 35mm or DCP projection format may participate.
b)The Director must be an Indian citizen and at least one of the producers must be an Indian citizen.
c)Only feature length fiction films are considered for this section. The minimum length of the film should be 70 minutes.
d)Feature length fiction films in digital format may also participate. Only HDCam or digibeta PAL tapes are accepted as digital format for festival screening.
e)The films must have been produced after September 01, 2014.
f)Remakes and dubbed versions of films from other languages are not eligible for participation.
g)The films should not have been presented in India either theatrically (commercially or in Festivals) or in video / telecast / internet.
h)Films submitted to the previous edition are not eligible for the submission.
Version and Subtitles :
** All films must be screened in their original version, with English subtitles.
** The costs of subtitling are the responsibility of the producer.
Documentation :
** For each film selected, the Festival must receive detailed documentation immediately, including synopsis of the film, biography and complete filmography of the director and of the leading actors, a selection of high resolution stills from the film, the poster design in a high resolution format, a recent photograph of the director, and a full list of artistic and technical credits.

Best Film :
** Golden Gateway trophy plus cash prize of Rs. 12,50,000 to the Director(s) of the film and Rs. 12,50,000 to the Producer(s) of the film. (The cash prize of Rs. 25,00,000 for this award is equally shared : 50% to the director(s) & 50% to producer(s)
Second Best Film :
** Silver Gateway trophy plus cash prize of Rs. 7,50,000 to the Director(s) of the film and Rs. 7,50,000 to the Producer(s) of the film (The cash prize of Rs. 15,00,000 for this award is equally shared : 50% to the director(s) & 50% to producer(s))
