Description:
The SAP Data Genius Contest is a skill-based contest (the “Contest”) that is intended to encourage users of all skill levels to create exciting and compelling solutions to real-world data problems using SAP software products (“SAP Software”).

Contest Entry Period:
** The Contest begins at 12:01 AM Pacific Time (“PT”) on June 15th, 2015 and ends at 11:59 PM (PT) on November 30th, 2015 (“Contest Entry Period”).
** [Note – Sponsor may continue to accept Entries after the Contest Entry Period, however, the DataGenius Committee will not include these Entries in the selection process, and Entries received after the Contest Entry Period will not be eligible for prizes.]
** Entries, which include all components described in these Official Rules, must be received during the Contest Entry Period (or such other period of time within the Entry Period as designated in these Official Rules) by Sponsor in accordance with the procedure and approved channels stated herein, or will not be eligible.

Eligibility:
** The Contest is open to individuals (referred to as “Entrants”, or on occasion “you” or “your”) who
** are the legal age of majority to form valid contracts in their respective country, province, or state of legal residence at the time the entry is submitted; and
** are legal residents of Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada (Excluding Quebec), Chile, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Peru, Philippines, Portugal, Russian Federation, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Or The United States.

How To Enter And Judging :
** During the Contest Entry Period, Entrant must register for this Contest by providing the information requested in the official entry form here (the “Entry”).
** Entrant must also provide the details required to create an SAP online account. You will need to choose
** a cause and, if applicable, a data set (additional information on these choices is available here);
** choose your SAP tool (You will need to obtain SAP software separately).
** Information on the available SAP products and how to obtain trial/evaluation copies can be found here) and (iii) submit the Entry on Ideaplace.
** Entrants may also be required to provide general information such as the following: their full name, complete mailing address and country of legal residence, email address, and contact phone number, company industry, and number of employees in the company.
** It is the Entrant’s sole responsibility to ensure Sponsor has their current contact information.
** In whole or in part invalid, non-compliant or incomplete Entries will not be considered.
** Sponsor may but is not obligated to request that an Entry be re-submitted for corrective reasons, so long as it complies with these Official Rules and is submitted by the same, eligible Entrant within the Contest Entry Period.

People’s Choice Awards :
** Online voting will begin on or about December 1st, 2015, at 9 a.m. PT and end on or about December 8th, 2015, at 6 p.m. PT (the “User Voting Period”).
** During People’s Choice Awards User Voting Period, SAP users (i.e., an individual with an SAP user ID) will review and evaluate all Entries and vote on-line for their favorite Data Genius Entries.
** Users are limited to one vote for each Entry during the User Voting Period but can vote for as many Entries as they like.
** Subsequent votes by an individual exceeding the Entry limit will be disqualified.
** The top 5% of Entries in terms of votes received will be highlighted as the People’s Choice Awards Winners.
** In the event of a tie, a panel of judges selected by Sponsor will determine the Entry that will be awarded.
** In the event fewer than ten (10) Entries are received, Sponsor reserves the right to select the People’s Choice Awards Winners.

Round 1:
** Round 1 Judging by the DataGenius Committee will begin on or about December 9th, 2015, at 9 a.m. PT and end on or about December 10th, 2015, at 6 p.m. PT (the “User Voting Period”).
** During Round One, the DataGenius Committee will review and evaluate all Entries and will select the top ten (10) Entries based on the Round 2 judging criteria, below.
** The top ten (10) Entries will move on to Round 2 of judging.
** In the event of a tie, a panel of judges selected by Sponsor will determine the Entry(ies) that will move on to Round 2.
** In the event fewer than ten (10) Entries are received, Sponsor reserves the right to terminate Round One judging and move immediately to Round Two judging.

Round 2:
** Round Two judging will take place December 10th, 2015. Each of the ten (10) Entries moving on to Round 2 (the “Finalists”) will be judged by a panel of qualified judges consisting of Sponsor’s employees and/or a panel of judges selected by Sponsor (“Judges”).
** Judges will review the Finalists and select a first place, second place, and third place Entry. Each of the Finalist Entries will be evaluated by the Judges based on the following criteria 1) Overall strength of story, 2) visual impact and design, and 3) creativity.
** Criteria 1 will be weighted with 50% of the total while criteria 2 and 3 will be each weighted with 25%, totaling the other 50% of the total.
** The Entry receiving the highest total score will be named the first place winner; the Entry receiving the second-highest total score will be named the second place winner; and the Entry receiving the third-highest total score will be named the third place winner.

Prizes:
** Prizes will be awarded to the top three (3) Entries which are chosen from the list of 10 provided by the DataGenius committee.
** A panel of judges will select the first place, second place, and third place winners as set forth in Section 5, above.
** The top three (3) Entries will receive the following

First Place Prize: An opportunity to select an Eligible Charity (defined below) to receive a $5,000 USD donation.
Second Place Prize: An opportunity to select an Eligible Charity to receive a $3,000 USD donation.
Third Place Prize: An opportunity to select an Eligible Charity to receive a $2,000 USD donation.

Each of the top three (3) Entries will also receive one (1) ticket for entry to SAP SAPPHIRE event in 2016 (Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) $1,950).
