** Digital India, a program to transform India into Digitally empowered Society and Knowledge Economy, is an e-governance plan initiated by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to ensure that government services are available to citizens electronically.

Digital India Awareness Workshop : 03/07/2015

** Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY), Govt of India has declared first week of July as “Digital India Week” to prepare India for a knowledge future.
** NIELIT Calicut is organizing an Awareness Workshop and Competitions for students on Digital India at our campus during 1st July 2015 to 7th July 2015.
** The following Programs and Contests are being organised at the Centre during this week.
** Live telecast of Digital India Week which will be held on 1st July 2015 at Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, New Delhi from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
** Candidates willing to participate may visit NIELIT centre

** 06/07/2015 9.00 A.M – 12.30 P.M – Digital India Quiz Competition for school children

** The registration for the presentation will be 9.00am to 10.00am
** The competition will start 10.30aam
** The competition is open for the students for class 9-12
** Each school can send a team of two students
** Duration of time 5 minutes
** Maximum No of slides 10 and Minimum no of slides 5
** Microsoft power point 2013 will be loaded on each computer

NIELIT Calicut has successfully executed many software development and electronics design projects for reputed organisations like TISCO, BPL, BPL Telecom, KEL, Kannur University, Kerala Feeds, KCMMF Ltd., MTAB, etc. NIELIT Calicut is also having 50 authorised training centers in Kerala for conducting computer software and hardware courses at present.
