What is MyGov Cyber Awareness Street Play Contest?

I4C, MHA and National School of Drama is organizing a Cyber Awareness Street Play Contest for all citizens in collaboration with MyGov on the theme – Cyber Safe India. All the participants, through the street play should aim to spread awareness about cybercrime and cyber hygiene. The competition will be open to all Indian citizens. The street play video must catch the essence and message of Cyber Awareness as elaborated in the themes as mentioned in the description. Street Play video can have a duration of maximum 15 minutes. Last Date of Contest is 02nd February 2024.

Eligibility Conditions of Cyber Awareness Street Play Contest

a) The competition will be open to all Indian citizens
b) The street play video must catch the essence and message of Cyber Awareness as elaborated in the themes as mentioned in the description.
c) Participants are encouraged to explore their creative instinct and produce a street play that promote National Cybercrime Helpline No. 1930 and NCRP cybercrime.gov.in
d) The street play videos can be shot on smartphone or a video camera.
e) The street play video will need to be shot in 1920x1080p (Full HD)
f) The video needs to be uploaded on to YouTube as UNLISTED (it should not be available on search engines or available in public domain) or Google Drive (with access to anyone with the link). The YouTube link needs to be submitted on www.mygov.in as the entry.
g) Street Play video can have a duration of maximum 15 minutes.

Through this contest, participants are encouraged:
1. To explore their creative instinct and produce a street play that promotes National Cybercrime Helpline No. 1930 and National Cybercrime Reporting Portal (NCRP) – www.cybercrime.gov.in
2. To spread awareness about the emerging types of cybercrime and ways to stay safe online.
3. To perform on any of the below themes:
a) Investment (Part Time Job Scam)
b) Illegal Loan Apps
c) Illegal Gaming Apps
d) Sextortion
e) Parcel Scam
f) Aadhaar Enabled Payment System (AePS) based Scam
g) Cybercrime related to Women & Children

Please Note:
a) The street play video, as per the eligibility conditions, needs to be uploaded on YouTube as UNLISTED (it should not be available on search engines or available in public domain) or Google Drive (with access to anyone with the link). Only the YouTube/ Google Drive link needs to be submitted on www.mygov.in as the entry.

b) The video must be shot horizontally in FHD (Full HD 1080p 16:9 1920X1080) resolution only. The picture and sound should be clearly understood, with no shaking/ blurry footage and minimal noise/static.
c) Each entry shall be accompanied with acceptable formats for street play video link (containing MP4/MOV/H264, Full HD, Resolution 1920 x 1080 pixels, 24/25 fps)
d) Street Play can have duration of maximum 15 minutes.

Selection Of Winners for Cyber Awareness Street Play Contest

a. Street play videos will be selected by a jury.
b. The Jury will determine their work process.
c. A person will be ineligible to serve on the Jury ONLY if his/her own street play is an entry. In the event of his / her close relative being associated with the particular street play, the Jury member shall recuse himself/herself from the selection process.
d. The Jury Members shall maintain strict confidentiality regarding the violation by jury members, suitable action will be initiated.
e. The Nodal officer at I4C and/or his/her nominee may provide information/clarifications, required by the jury regarding the entries. They shall however neither participate in the deliberations nor vote.
f. The decision of the juries shall be final and binding and no appeal or correspondence regarding their decision shall be entertained.
g. The videos of selected street plays will be screened by any Ministry or Department under Government of India.

General Guidelines of Cyber Awareness Street Play Contest

a) Acoustic and percussion instruments can be used
b) The decision of Judges will be Final and Binding;
c) In any situation that is not described the annexure, the decision taken by the judges will be final;
d) Use of fire/ water/ smoke machines is not allowed in the Street Play video
e) In case of any discrepancies and irregularities, I4C team will have the final authority to cancel the entry.

f) I4C and MyGov reserve the right to cancel or amend all or any part of the Contest and/or the Terms & Conditions/Technical Parameters/ Evaluation Criteria and withdraw the activity at any time. Participants are solely responsible for keeping themselves updated regarding the same.

g) I4C and MyGov will not accept any responsibility for entries that are lost, are late or incomplete or have not been transmitted due to computer or network error or any other error beyond the organizer’s reasonable control. Please note proof of submission of the entry is not proof of receipt of the same.

h) In the event of unforeseen circumstances, organizers reserve the right to amend or withdraw from the competition at any time. For the avoidance of doubt this includes the right to amend these terms and conditions.
i) I4C will disburse the mementos and the certificates to the selected winner(s).
j) I4C has the rights to edit and publish the videos giving due credit.
k) Participant shall abide by all the rules and regulations of participating in the competition.
l) By participating in the competition, the participant accepts and agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, mentioned here.
