What is Tata Ultra Marathon?
An Ultra Marathon, also called ultra-distance or ultra-running, is any footrace longer than the traditional marathon length of 42.195 kilometers (26.219 miles). TATA ULTRA MARATHON is going to be held on 25th February 2024 (Sunday). It is certified by the Athletics Federation of India, course certified by AIMS.Tata Ultra Marathon covers a distance of 50 kms while the Tata Challenge Run covers a distance of 35 kms. Both race categories are open for men and women to participate in.

Registration Fee: Rs. 3000
(includes a charitable sum of Rs 300 towards Tata Better Soles initiative)
Distance : Tata Challenge Run – 35 kms
a. Open Men & Women 18 – Below 45 years
b. Veteran Men & Women 45 years & above
Flag off Time : 3:00 a.m.
Registration Fee: Rs. 2500
(includes a charitable sum of Rs 300 towards Tata Better Soles initiative)
Eligibility of Tata Ultra Marathon
** Only those above 18 years & above on the race day are allowed to compete.
** Runners who are able to complete Half Marathon under 3 hours will be allowed to compete in 35KM race and runners who are able to complete full marathon under 6 hours are eligible to compete in 50KM Ultra Run.
** Every runner should check with their family doctor before registering for the race.
** Carrying headlights for the run is compulsory and you can participate in the run only if you run with the headlights. You will not be allowed to run without headlights.
Rules Of Participation for Tata Ultra Marathon
** Participants must complete the race on foot within the stipulated time of 8 hours for 50 KM and 6 hours for 35 KM Run.
** Participants may be disqualified or penalised at any time during the race for the following reasons:
1. Taking shortcuts and/or running off the trails.
2. Not carrying the mandatory equipment.
3. Throwing garbage onto the course (this applies to both the racers and their supporters).
4. Receiving outside support at other than the stipulated aid stations.
5. Running with people who are not officially registered in the race as racers.
6. Cheating (e.g. using other means of transportation, using substitute runners, and other unlawful actions).
7. Not abiding by the instructions given by official race staff including doctors, nurses, and emergency staff.
8. Disobeying COVID-19 guidelines stated by government health advisories.
9. Doping and the use of prohibited drugs.
10. Following activities are not allowed:
** Use of Trekking poles
** Carrying other runners’ stuff or gear while the race is in progress
** Outside support (except at designated areas)
** Using personal support vehicle
** Running without bib. The bib should always be worn, and the number should be always visible on the CHEST during the race.
Prizes Of Tata Ultra Marathon
Terms and conditions apply. All prizes subject to tax deduction at source and can only be collected post submission of PAN No and Aadhar Card details.
Participants who finishes after 8 am will be awarded with only medal.
