What is ANVESHAN IIM Indore Business Pitch Competition?
Trash to Treasure Challenge Business Pitch Competition 2024 is organized by ANVESHAN, IIM Indore’s Centre of Excellence. The competition is open to Undergraduate and Postgraduate students from any discipline. Participants must develop a business pitch deck explaining innovative solutions to waste management and sustainability challenges aligned with Swachh Bharat Mission Urban 2.0. The entries will be judged on the basis of innovation, creativity, problem-solving skills, potential impact, and alignment with the theme. Last Date of Contest is 21st May 2024.
Objective of Business Pitch Competition
After the roaring success of the Logo Making Competition, ANVESHAN is thrilled to unveil its latest endeavour – the Trash to Treasure Challenge! This unique business pitch deck competition, where creativity meets sustainability, aims to inspire the ingenious minds of college students across India to revolutionise waste management and sustainability through groundbreaking solutions aligned with the Swachh Bharat Mission Urban 2.0.
Eligibility of Business Pitch Competition
** Open to all students (UG and PG) from any discipline.
** Each team can submit only one entry.
** Submission Formats: Entries should be submitted in a high-resolution digital format (PPTX and PDF).
** Originality: The proposed solution must be original, without any use of AI, and not infringe on any copyrights.
** Submission Deadline: All entries must be submitted by May 21, 2024.
** The top 10 entries from the first round will move to the second round, where they will be required to present their business pitch virtually in front of a panel of judges in 5-6 minutes.
** The top 5 teams from the second round will be invited to the IIM Indore campus on June 1, 2024. They will deliver their final pitches in front of a distinguished panel of judges comprising industry experts and professors.
** The participants need to make their own arrangements for travel and accommodation during the final presentation at the IIM Indore campus on June 1, 2024.
Submission Guidelines of Business Pitch Competition
The entries should be submitted in both PPTX and PDF formats. They should contain the following information:
** Problem Definition and Target Market: Clearly define the problem your product or service addresses and identify your target market.
** Proposed Solution (Product/Service) and Its Features: Present your innovative solution to the identified problem and outline its key features. Describe how your business directly addresses a waste management or sustainability challenge aligned with Swachh Bharat Mission 2.0 and ANVESHAN.
** Market Analysis and Competitive Landscape: Provide an analysis of the market you’ll be entering, including competitors and differentiation strategies.
** Go-to-Market Strategy for the Next 5 Years: Outline your plan for introducing and scaling your product or service in the market over the next five years.
** Revenue Model and Financial Projections: Describe how your venture will generate revenue and provide financial projections for its growth.
** Stakeholder Analysis: Conduct a Stakeholder Analysis, identifying key individuals, groups, or organizations with an interest in your project’s success, and categorize them based on their impact and influence on your project.
Rewards of Business Pitch Competition
** The top three winning teams will receive the following prizes:
Winner: Rs. 25,000/-
1st Runner Up: Rs. 15,000/-
2nd Runner Up: Rs. 10,000/-
** The top three teams will be featured across IIM Indore’s communication channels and receive certificates of recognition.
** Opportunity to network with industry experts and fellow innovators.
