What is ICPE RECYCLE Olympiad?
ICPE – RECYCLE – Olympiad 2024 is organized by Indian Centre for Plastics in the Environment (ICPE). Students of grades IV – XII enrolled in a school affiliated to recognized educational board or trust are eligible to appear for ICPE – RECYCLE Olympiad. Private coaching institute and similar entities are not allowed to participate in this exam. All participating students will receive a certificate of participation from ICPE. Last Date of Olympiad is 31st July 2024.

Eligibility of RECYCLE Olympiad
The Olympiad is open to students from Class IV to Class XII. Students from participating schools in Delhi and Mumbai are eligible to compete.
The Olympiad is divided into three categories:
Category-1: Class IV – VII
Category-2: Class VIII – X
Category-3: Class XI – XII
Registration Process of RECYCLE Olympiad
Schools must register their participation through the provided link on home page. The registration deadline is 31st July 2024. The school can charge INR 120 Per student as a fee for the exam. However, the school can retain INR 20 per student for conducting the exam in their premises. A registration fee of INR 100 per student is required, to be deposited in ICPE’s bank account through NEFT/RTGS/Online Transfer.
Prizes of RECYCLE Olympiad
** Trophies and certificates will be awarded to the top 10 achievers from both Delhi and Mumbai.
** All participating students will receive a certificate of participation from ICPE.
** Teachers who have guided the winning students will be acknowledged by ICPE. Certificates will be framed using recycled materials such as EPS/ Thermocol.
FAQ on RECYCLE Olympiad
How can one register for RECYCLE Olympiad?
ICPE – RECYLE Olympiad will only accept school-based registration. Schools can register onlinethrough our website. On receiving your registration, ICPE will generate School code and send it through the email address provided in the registration. Atier that the school has to upload the names, classes of the students in the excel sheet along with School code.
What is the Syllabus/ Textbooks for RECYCLE Olympiad?
ICPE – RECYCLE Olympiad addresses a range of topics such as Plastics, Recycling, Sustainability. The examination is not based on any prescribed syllabus or textbooks. We encourage the participants to do extensive reading and be well versed with topics related to Plastics & Recycling. You may please refer to sample Books & Mock tests available on our website.

How can we make payments?
For ICPE – RECYLE Olympiad, schools can remit the total fee by payment gateway method during registration or through a Bank Drati drawn in favour of Indian Centre for Plastics in the Environment, payable at Mumbai (offline registration). For online transfer the details are as follows.

What will be the centre for examination?
ICPE – RECYCLE Olympiad: School will be the centre for its registered students. ICPE Secretariat will send question papers and OMR sheet before the examination.
Can we change the examination date after registration?
No, you cannot change the date of examination under any circumstances.
What should I do if I have forgotten my school code?
Please check back date e-mails from ICPE Secretariat else write an email to us to generate a new code.
Will we receive any certificates?
All participants and coordinating teacher will receive certificates. Merit and distinction certificates will also be awarded based on scores.
