What is Bank of Baroda Hackathon?
“Bank of Baroda Hackathon 2024” Contest is organized by BOB Bank of Baroda. Anyone interested, including techies, developers, students, and start-ups from across India, can participate. There are no age or experience restrictions. The hackathon will have 6 specific themes/use-cases. Each team or individual must choose one theme for their submission. The product/solution can be in English or an Indian language. Finalists will receive certificates of participation. Last Date of Contest is 30th June 2024.

Eligibility of Bank of Baroda Hackathon
** Only residents of India who are 18 years of age or older are eligible to participate.
Team Formation: Participants can join as individuals or form teams. Each team can have a maximum of 4 members.
Team Management: Participants can invite friends to form a team or request to join other teams. Team members cannot be added or removed after the idea submission phase ends.

Submission Guidelines of Bank of Baroda Hackathon
Themes and Use-Cases: The hackathon will have 6 specific themes/use-cases. Each team or individual must choose one theme for their submission.
Multiple Submissions: Participants can submit multiple entries, but only the last submitted entry before the deadline will be considered as the final submission.
API Usage: All APIs used must be listed during the idea submission. The use of Microsoft Azure OpenAI is mandatory. Participants are also encouraged to use other Microsoft tools like Visual Studio, PowerApps, GitHub, etc.
Originality: All hacks must be original, unique, and developed entirely during the hackathon period. Duplicate or previously developed ideas will be disqualified.
Rules of Bank of Baroda Hackathon
The Hackathon is to be organized in 2 phase:
Phase 1 – Idea Submission Phase
Phase 2 – Prototype Phase
** Participants are required to register first, as a team on the bobhackathon.com website
** Team size can be from 1 (min.) up to of 4 (max.) members.
** Participating individual / group can register for only one theme
** Any individual can participate in only 1 team or at an individual level only. Any deviation will lead to disqualification of all teams that the individual participates in.
** You cannot add/delete team members after the idea submission round ends.
** It’s an online Hackathon, you can participate from anywhere in India only.
** There are 6 themes / use-cases. To participate, you must submit a hack in only one of them
** Once the Hackathon starts, you will get an option to submit your hack. You can submit as many times as you want, the last hack will be considered as the final submission.
** After evaluation of Phase 1 Idea, selected teams will be invited to continue their participation for Phase 2 Prototype development.
** Teams need to mention all the APIs you will be using while submitting your idea.

** Top 10 Teams will be called to present a live demonstration before the evaluation committee in Mumbai.
** The intellectual property of your code belongs only to you or your team.
** All teams are free to innovate and go beyond provided pointers. Participants are encouraged to explore more alternatives / enhance the idea for better implementation.
** The teams shall not demonstrate any existing solution or collaborate with companies that have existing solution. Such hacks, disqualified. An undertaking towards the same will have to be provided by the team
** The Prototype designed/developed should not violate/breach/copy any copyrighted, patented or existing solution available in the market.Noncompliance, will lead to disqualification from the hackathon.
