What is APPSC Logo Design Contest?

Logo Design Contest/Competition 2024 is organized by Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC). This competition is open to all the citizens of India. Logo must be in English. The interested participants can submit their designs through dedicated link “LOGO DESIGN CONTEST” in the APPSC website. One participant shall submit only one entry. Last Date of Contest is 15th July 2024.

 

Eligibility of Logo Design Contest

** This Competition is open to all the citizens of India.
** Age Limit -18 years and above.
** Last date to submit the entries – 15th July 2024.

Technical Parameters of Logo Design Contest

** The participant should submit a high-resolution (600 dpi) image of the logo in JPEC, PNG, BMP or TIFF SVG formats only.
** The logo should be distinctive and scalable. It should be usable in large hoardings, posters, creatives and any kind of print material and be appropriate for any kind of web device.
** The winner shall be required to provide the original open-source file of the designed logo.
** The logo can be in multi-color but should be convertible to monochrome too.
** Logo should look clean (not pixelated or bit-mapped) when viewed on-screen at 100%.
** Entries should not be submitted in compressed or self-extracting formats.
** The logo design should not be imprinted or watermarked.
** All fonts should be converted to Outlines/Curves.

The logo must contain the following details:
a) National Emblem of India.
b) Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (in legible font) or APPSC (in short form)
c) Symbols representing APPSC and showing the motto and objective of the APPSC.
d) The design should be simple and should not have more than 3 or 4 elements.
e) The logo can be in multi-colour but should be convertible to monochrome too.

Prize of Logo Design Contest

** Prize for the winner – Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) only.
** The winning design shall be adopted as the Logo of the APPSC.
** A panel of judges shall be appointed by the APPSC to evaluate the legit entries and decide the winner. The decision of the panel would be final and binding.

Terms and Conditions of Logo Design Contest

** The interested participants can submit their designs through dedicated link “LOGO DESIGN CONTEST” in the APPSC website.
** The competition is hosted by the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission.
** Please note that the Logo design submitted must be original. should not violate any provision of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957 and must not infringe on the intellectual rights of any third party.
** Logo must be in English.
** One participant shall submit only one entry. Multiple entries from the same entrant will not he considered and will be rejected.
** The participant is to make sure that his/her contact details are accurate and updated since the Commission will be using this for further communication. This includes details such as name, e-mail ID and mobile number.
** Once submitted for the competition. copyrights of the logo will solely be with the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission.
** The entry should not have been previously published in any print and digital media.
** The entry must not contain any provocative, objectionable, or inappropriate content.
** The winners have to share their consent to the use of their names in any publicity carried out by Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission.
** There will be no notification to participants of entries not selected as winners.
** The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission reserves the right to reject any entry, which it does not feel is suitable or appropriate or which does not conform to any of the conditions listed above.
** Entries must be made by the closing date and in the manner set out in the contest terms and conditions. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.
** The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss or injury of any kind suffered by any participants in entering the contest, including as a result of any participant winning or not winning any prize.
** Plagiarism of any nature would not be allow-ed.
** The winner shall be required to provide the original open-source file of the designed logo.
