What is MyGov Logo Design Contest for AMBUD Platform?

Logo Design Contest for AMBUD Platform 2024 is organized by Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) and Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). The contest is open to all Indian citizens. Participants should upload the logo in JPEG, JPG, or PNG format only. The logo should be designed on a digital platform. All entries must be submitted on mygov.in. Entries submitted through any other medium/mode will not be considered for evaluation. Last Date of Contest is 22nd July 2024.

Participation Guidelines of Logo Design Contest for AMBUD Platform

1. Participants should upload the logo in JPEG, JPG, or PNG format only. The logo should be designed on a digital platform.
2. The winner of the competition shall be required to submit the design in an editable and open file format.
3. Participants should ensure that the original designs are submitted.

4. Each entry should submit a detailed logic and explanation of rational and creative thoughts (not more than 100 words) on the designed logo in a soft copy. The logo should be designed in a coloured format. The size of the logo may vary from 5 cm by 5 cm to 30cm*30cm in either portrait or landscape mode.

5. The logo should be usable on the website, social media, such as Twitter/Facebook, press releases, and on printables such as stationery, signage, labels, etc., magazines, commercials, holdings, standees, brochures, leaflets, pamphlets, souvenirs, and other publicity and marketing material for the promotion of AMBUD Portal.

6. The logo image should be in high resolution with a minimum of 300 DPI.
7. The logo should look clean (not pixilated or bit-mapped) when viewed on-screen at 100%.
8. Entries should not be submitted in compressed or self-extracting formats.
9. The logo design should not be imprinted or watermarked.

Evaluation Criteria of Logo Design Contest for AMBUD Platform

1. All the entries received would be assessed for awards by a screening committee for an initial evaluation. After such screening, all approved entries would be assessed by a Selection Committee for the final evaluation.

2. The entries will be judged and selected based on the following criteria:
a. Alignment to Name and overall theme of AMBUD Portal
b. Creativity
c. Originality
d. Simplicity
e. Inspirational element

3. If there are more than the required number of winners in any category, further selection shall be done with the help of Draw.
4. The decision of the Selection Committee would be final and binding on all the contestants. No clarifications would be issued to any participants or to any decision of the Selection Committee.

Rewards of Logo Design Contest for AMBUD Platform

a. Cash Prize for the winner: Rs. 50,000/-
b. Cash Prize for two runner-ups: Rs. 20,000/-

Terms & Conditions of Logo Design Contest for AMBUD Platform

1. The contest is open to all Indian citizens.
2. The logo(s) designed to represent AMBUD’s Mission & Vision shall be by the above mission, technical parameters and other requirements listed in the terms and conditions.
3. All entries must be submitted on mygov.in. Entries submitted through any other medium/mode will not be considered for evaluation.
4. The participants agree to grant an exclusive, irrevocable, royalty-free license in respect of all the rights, titles and interests, including but not limited to intellectual property in the Submissions in favour of the organizers.

5. The organizers shall have all rights to publish, use, adapt, edit and/or modify such Submissions, including, without limitation, selected portions thereof, in any way, in any and all media, without limitation, worldwide and in perpetuity, for use, including but not limited to, advertising, promotion, review, or any other purpose whatsoever.

6. The participants undertake not to file applications or claim rights, title, or ownership in the Submissions and shall provide all assistance to the Organizers to obtain registration of Intellectual Property in respect of the same, in the name of the Organizers, as may be required in any jurisdiction.

7. The submissions must include a brief description (maximum 100 words) of the logo along with the image (i.e., an explanation of the logo, symbol, color etc.).
8. Please note that the logo must be original and should not violate any provision of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957. Anyone found infringing on others’ copyright will be disqualified from the competition.
9. All rights, titles, and interests, including, without limitation, intellectual property rights in the submissions being made, must be owned solely by the participants.

10. The participant should make sure that his/her MyGov profile is accurate and updated since the Ministry would be using this for further communication. This includes details such as name, complete postal address, email ID and phone number. Entries with incomplete profiles would not be considered.

11. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, organizers reserve the right to amend or withdraw the competition at any time. For the avoidance of doubt this includes the right to amend these terms and conditions.
12. The Submissions shall not comprise any illegal, objectionable, or inappropriate content.
13. At any stage of evaluation, if an entry is found to violate the guidelines, the entry will be removed from the evaluation process without giving any intimation.
14. The decision of the committee will be final and binding to all the entries. No requests relating to claims of re-evaluation of the entries will be considered.
15. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Indian Judiciary.
16. By sending the entries, the Entrant accepts and agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, mentioned above.
17. It is clarified that no registration/ submission fees are payable concerning the submissions for the competition.
