What is SPAN Academy Quiz Contest?

Quiz Contest TRANSMEDCON 2024 is organized by SPAN Academy. The students from the Department of Transfusion Medicine and IHBT can participate in the Quiz. Quiz is designed to challenge student teams with questions across different formats written multiple-choice, first-to-buzzer rounds, negative scoring etc. The questions are created by subject matter experts and delivered to them by Quiz masters, bringing in the element of surprise for the participants and making the Quiz more interesting and competitive. Last Date of Contest is 7th September 2024.

Who can Participate in the Quiz Contest?

** The students from the Department of Transfusion Medicine and IHBT can participate in the Quiz.
** A national level Quiz contest for the students, pursuing MD/DNB in Transfusion Medicine/Immunohematology and Blood Transfusion in India, at the venue of National Conference of Indian Society of Transfusion Medicine.
** The Quiz is designed to challenge your knowledge in TM in a graduated manner.
** This Quiz will turn out to be an eye-opener for you to look into your future steps and what needs to be expected of the field you are in.

Opportunities for Participants of Quiz Contest

** Academic enhancement.
** Networking with students from the country pursuing MD/DNB in Transfusion Medicine/Immunohematology and Blood Transfusion.
** To-and-fro travel reimbursement for the students who emerge as the top – 2 teams (Winners and Runners-up).
** Candidates who register for the Quiz will be provided complimentary accommodation (twin-sharing basis), by SPAN Academy.
** Prizes for the winners will be announced at the venue.
** All participants registered for the Quiz will be given certificates of Participation.
** Finals of the Quiz will be conducted on September 29 2024, so plan travel accordingly.

Terms & Conditions of Quiz Contest TRANSMEDCON

** There will be extra bank fees that apply.
** In order to present an abstract, present a poster, and interact with invited faculty, chairpersons, and committee members, registration is required.
** It is necessary to have a legitimate certificate from the department/institution head in order to register for postgraduate studies.
** Registration is non-transferable.
** In all of your transactions, kindly provide your registration number.
** The delegate, not the organizing committee, will bear responsibility in the event that a payment transaction fails.
** The organizing committee’s choice will be regarded as final. Any changes to the conference’s date will not be the organizer’s fault.
** The conference will not offer Mediclaim or Medical Insurance.
** Chennai is the jurisdiction area for legal purposes.
** A Delegate kit will not be given for spot registrations (Subject to availability).
** If an act of God or other unforeseen circumstances, such as the resurgence of COVID-19 cases, cause the conference to be postponed or held virtually, the organizers will not be held accountable. Any change-related decisions will be made after thorough discussion and consultation with the ISTM National Governing Body.
