Painting Competition on the Theme Mission LiFE 2024 is organized by Ministry of Defence in collaboration with MyGov. All Indian Citizens can participate in the competition. Participants are to showcase painting(s) depicting individual or community actions in their daily lives to protect and preserve the environment. Top 250 participants would be issued invitation cards by Ministry of Defence to witness Independence Day Celebration at Red Fort, Delhi. Last Date of Contest is 30th July 2024.

Objectives of Painting Competition on the Theme Mission Life

** This painting competition aims to shine a spotlight on Mission LiFE—an initiative championing environmental conservation through individual and community actions.
** Participants are invited to unleash their creativity by portraying daily practices that highlight the importance of safeguarding our environment in their artworks.
** This initiative aims to ignite a passion for sustainable living rooted in India’s vibrant cultural traditions, uniting the youth and the public in a shared commitment to global environmental stewardship, celebrating Independence Day with creativity and environmental consciousness.

Gratifications of Painting Competition on the Theme Mission Life

1st Prize – ₹ 25,000/-
2nd Prize – ₹ 15,000/-
3rd Prize – ₹ 10,000/-
Top 250 participants would be issued invitation cards by Ministry of Defence to witness Independence Day Celebration to be held on 15th August, 2024 at Red Fort, Delhi.

Terms & Conditions of Painting Competition on the Theme Mission Life

1. All Indian Citizens can participate in the competition.
2. One participant can submit a maximum of one entry only. Once submitted an entry cannot be withdrawn.
3. Please note that the work must be original and should not violate any provision of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957. Anyone found infringing on others’ copyrights would be disqualified
4. The participant should ensure that his / her MyGov profile is accurate and updated since the Ministry would use this for further communication.
5. Discovery/detection/noticing of use of any unfair/spurious means/malpractices, including but not limited to impersonation, double participation, etc. during the participation in the competition, will result in the participation being declared null and void and hence, rejected. The organizers of the competition or any agency acting on their behalf reserves the right in this regard.
6. The entries submitted would be the sole property of the Ministry of Defence with the right to use and right to edit for any purpose it considers appropriate.
7. Employees, directly or indirectly connected with organizing the competition, are not eligible to participate in the competition. This Ineligibility also applies to their immediate family members.
8. Winners will be announced based on the screening of paintings by a designated Screening Committee in the Ministry of Defence. The decision of the committee will be final and binding to all the entries and no requests relating to claims of re-evaluation. The decision of the Screening Committee may not be challenged further in any mode
9. Bonafide documents (proof of identity, age, address, and bank details), will be required to be submitted by the winners after the announcement of the result of the competition. Non-furnishing of the above information/documents at the appropriate stage will render the selection null and void.
10. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, organizers reserve the right to amend or withdraw the competition at any time. For the avoidance of doubt, this includes the right to amend these terms and conditions.
11. The Ministry of Defence will disburse the winning amount to the selected winner.
