What is Subroto Cup Football Tournament?
Subroto Cup Football Tournament 2024 is organized by ‘Subroto Mukerjee Sports Education Society’. The tournament will be conducted in three age categories viz. Sub Junior Boys (U-15), Junior Girls (U-17) and Junior Boys (U-17). This is a unique tournament wherein only the champion school teams from the States and Union Territories of India participate. A team is to remit registration fee of Rs. 2,000/-. Last Date of competition is 31st July 2024.
Eligibility of Subroto Cup Football Tournament
Eligibility of Teams:
** The tournament shall be open to a bonafide school team only as certified by the Director of Education / DPI of the concerned state. Institutional teams like NCC, Army Boys, Sainik School, SAI, IPSC, CBSE(WSO), KVS, NVS, Indian Railways, ISSO, Air Force School, Army Public School, Navy Children School etc. would be permitted at the discretion of the Organising Committee.
** However, in the case of foreign teams, where Junior club football is prevalent, club teams consisting of school children, studying in the same school, in the concerned age categories would be considered at the discretion of the Organising Committee.
Eligibility of Players:
** Only bonafide students of the school who have been on the rolls of the school concerned from the beginning of the academic year or term shall be eligible to play in the tournament for the school team subject to age criteria given below in Para 13 to 17.
** A Player is permitted to participate in only one category i.e. If a Sub-Junior Boys (U-15) wants to play Junior Boys (U-17) then he will not be allowed to participate in Sub-Junior Boys (U-15).
Age:
Sub-Junior Boys (U-15): To be eligible to represent his school team, a player in the Sub Junior Boys Group (Under 14 years) should be born on or after 01 January 2010.
Junior Girls (U-17): To be eligible to represent her school team, a player in the Junior Girls Group (Under 17 years) should be born on or after 01 January 2008.
Junior Boys (U-17): To be eligible to represent his school team, a player in the Junior Boys Group (Under 17 years) should be born on or after 01 January 2008.
How to Apply for Subroto Cup Football Tournament?
** The entry form at Appendix ‘A’ must be completed in all respect including signature of the respective State Education Department / Head of Institution and a copy of the same to be forwarded to the Subroto Cup office by e-mail or fax so as to reach not later than 31 July 2024.
** However, teams must submit the original ‘Entry Form’ and ID Cards (will be forwarded by Subroto Society on receipt of confirmation of participation) on their arrival at the venue. No teams will be permitted to participate in the tournament unless the original entry form, and ID Cards duly completed in all respect, is submitted.
Registration Fee of Subroto Cup Football Tournament
** A team is to remit registration fee of Rs. 2,000/- (Rupees Two Thousand Only). ‘NO’ application for participation in Subroto Cup, shall be considered unless the registration fee has been paid. The registration fee should be remitted online using payment portal available on our website subrotocup.in
** Teams which pay their registration fee but subsequently withdraw from the main leg of the tournament shall not be entitled for any refund of the registration fee.
