What is MyGov Tap Water Safe Water Awareness Challenge?
Tap Water – Safe Water Awareness Challenge 2024 Contest is organized by Har Ghar Jal under the Department of Drinking Water & Sanitation, Jal Jeevan Mission in collaboration with MyGov. This is an opportunity to leave your mark on a Multi-Mode Communication Campaign on issues of water quality for themes such as Drinking from the tap and Chlorinated water that aims to create mass awareness in the rural population of India. There is no entry fee to participate in the competition. Last Date of Contest is 30th September 2024.

Winner/s will receive a certificate, and national recognition will be done at the National level by the Ministry/Department.
Evaluation Criteria of Tap Water Safe Water Awareness Challenge
** Your multi-mode communication campaign will be evaluated based on how the awareness plan or ideas are aligned with the JJM campaign’s objective mentioned above, their originality, their appeal to a diverse audience, and their ability to convey a powerful message succinctly through various modes of communication. Also, these ideas should have some inbuilt impact evaluation matrix, so that we can track the progress/ impact of the campaign.
** The Selection committee will evaluate the ideas based on the mentioned parameters and select the winners.
1 Originality : The message and idea should have a powerful impact and not be plagiarised.
2 Reach : The campaign should appeal to a diverse audience.
3 Technical Feasibility : Campaign features, scalability, interoperability and enhancement.
4 Roadmap : Communication strategy, periodical time to reach the different sets of audiences.
5 Team Ability & Culture : Team leader’s effectiveness (i.e. ability to guide, ability to present idea), team members’ qualification, growth and Potential of organization
6 Financial Plan : The potential cost to execute the campaign plan.
7 Unique Selling Point (USP) : List of unique features that the campaign plan will demonstrate.
Terms & Conditions of Tap Water Safe Water Awareness Challenge
** Only one entry from a participant/user ID will be considered valid.
** There is no entry fee to participate in the competition.
** If the participant is participating in the activity first time, he/she needs to fill in the required details for participation on MyGov. By submitting the details and participating in the challenge, participants can be contacted if declared a winner.
** Participants must make sure that the information in their profile is accurate and updated as it will be used for any further communications. This includes name, address, email address, phone number etc. Any entry with incomplete or inaccurate information will not be considered.
** The participant will take the undertaking that the work submitted is original and their work.
** The content should not contain any provocative, inappropriate, or objectionable content
** A team member/ team lead cannot be a member/ lead of other teams. An individual cannot have both team and sole participation.
** The entries will be the intellectual property and copyright of the National Jal Jeevan Mission, Department of Drinking Water & Sanitation, Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India. Nobody can exercise any right over it. The entries are intended to be used by the Government of India for public welfare and awareness campaigns.
** All entries must be submitted to innovateindia.mygov.in. Entries submitted through any form other than MyGov shall not be considered for evaluation.
** The organizers reserve the right to disqualify participants and refuse/discard entries if the information submitted is incomplete, plagiarized, false or erroneous. Any kind of malpractices such as impersonation, multiple entries etc. will not be accepted.
** The content must be original and should not violate any provision of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957. Anyone found infringing on others’ copyright would be disqualified from the competition. The government of India does not bear any responsibility for copyright violations or infringements of intellectual property carried out by the participants.
** Ministry of Jal Shakti, Department of Drinking Water & Sanitation reserves the right to cancel or amend all or any part of the Contest and the Terms & Conditions/ Technical Parameters/ Evaluation Criteria.
** All disputes/ legal complaints are subject to the jurisdiction of Delhi only. Expenses incurred for this purpose will be borne by the participants themselves.
** It would be the responsibility of the participants to keep themselves informed and updated as to any changes in the Terms and Conditions/Technical Parameters/ Evaluation Criteria stated for this Contest on MyGov.
