Terms & Conditions of TAGLINE Contest for Visvesvaraya PhD Scheme
1. Competition is open to the public.
2. Participants are required to register themselves at www.mygov.in by filling a simple registration form.
3. Incomplete entries will not be considered.
4. All the received entries would be assessed for award by a Selection Committee.
5. Entries would be judged based on creativity, originality, composition, technical excellence, simplicity, merit and impact and how well they communicate the essence of Visvesvaraya PhD Scheme for Electronics & IT.
6. The decision of the Selection Committee would be final and binding on all the contestants and no clarifications would be issued to any participants for any of their choices.
7. Digital India Corporation (DIC) would have the right over the winning entry for registration as a trademark and usage in a way felt appropriate by it.
8. The winning participant would have no right or claim on the submitted design once the prize is handed over. DIC shall not use the disqualified entries for any purpose and shall have no intellectual rights over them.
9. Any legal proceedings arising out of the competition/ its entries/ winners shall be subject to the local jurisdiction of New Delhi.
10. All entries obtained through unauthorized sources or which are incomplete, illegible, mutilated, altered, reproduced, forged, irregular, or fraudulent in any way or otherwise not in compliance with the rules are automatically void.
11. It is strongly advised not to wait until the deadline for the submission of entries.
12. Organizers shall not be responsible for non-receipt of entries on account of server errors/ traffic.
13. A slogan must be original and should not violate any provision of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957. Plagiarism or copying of any nature would not be allowed. Anyone found infringing on others’ copyrights would be disqualified from the competition.
14. The organizers reserve the right to select or reject any submission without assigning any reasons whatsoever and without thereby incurring any liability to the participant(s) whatsoever.
15. Organizers reserve the right to cancel the competition or modify the rules, and dates of the competition at any time. The Organizers shall have no liability whatsoever for any inconvenience/loss directly or indirectly caused to any Participant due to such modification of rules/cancellation of competition and the Participants shall accordingly not be entitled to raise any claims pertaining to the same.
16. Once the participants have made submissions on the platform, they shall have no claim even in the event of stoppage/cancellation of the competition.
17. Removal/ voluntary withdrawal of members is not encouraged. No other form of modification will be entertained at any point.
18. Once a nomination has been received, organizers may correspond with the nominee/nominator for supplementary information, if necessary.
19. Any legal proceedings arising out of the competition/its entries/winners shall be subject to the local jurisdiction of Delhi courts.
20. Expenses incurred for this purpose will be borne by the parties themselves.
