What is Nagaland University Photography Contest?
Photography Contest 2024 is organized by Nagaland University. Faculty, Administrative Staff, Research Scholars and Students of Nagaland University are eligible to enter the contest. Three prizes each shall be given under two categories staff (Teaching & Administrative Staff) and students (Research Scholars & PG Students). Last Date of Contest is 2nd September 2024.

Theme of Photography Contest
Participants are free to choose any theme for the contest. However, the chosen theme should be related or connected to Nagaland University
Eligibility of Photography Contest
Faculty, Administrative Staff, Research Scholars and Students of Nagaland University are eligible to enter the contest.
How to Submit for Photography Contest?
Submission Requirements:
** Each contestant must submit a series of 10 high-quality photographs based on their chosen theme.
** The photographs should be accompanied by a brief description of the theme (50 – 100 words)
** Contestants may participate as individuals or as groups.
** Contestants may make entries on more than one theme; however, only the best entry (from among the entries submitted by the same contestant) shall be considered for the purpose of awarding prize).
** Photos should be original work taken by the contestant(s)
** Digital editing is allowed, but should not alter the essential nature of the photograph.
** Each photo should be of sufficient resolution to showcase the details and clarity of the same
Submission Details:
i. Contestants must submit their entries via email to pro[AT]nagalanduniversity.ac.in by 2nd September 2024 (Monday) 12 Noon. For any query or doubt, message may be sent to the WhatsApp number: 6009 9797 67
ii. Each contestant should provide the following details:
** Full Name
** Designation (For Faculty/Administrative Staff)
** Department (For Faculty/RS/Student
** Section (For Administrative Staff)
** Campus
** WhatsApp Number
Judging Criteria of Photography Contest
1. Creativity and Originality: Uniqueness of the theme and the approach taken.
2. Technical Quality: Clarity, focus, composition, and lighting.
3. Emotional Impact: How well the photos evoke emotions or tell a story related to Nagaland University.
4. Overall Cohesion: How well the series of 10 photos work together as a unified set.
Additional Notes:
** The submitted photographs shall become property of Nagaland University.
** Any entry that does not meet the submission guidelines shall be disqualified.
Note:
** Decision of the approved panel of judges shall be final and binding

** Winners Announcement – 5th September 2024 (Wednesday)
** Prizes will be awarded on 6th September 2024 (Thursday) at the Foundation Day
