What is SCERT Inter-College Lesson Plan/LTM Competition?

Inter-College Lesson Plan/LTM Competition 2024 is organized by State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) Delhi. All B.Ed. / B.El.Ed. students of Delhi and NCR degree colleges/ institutions/ universities are eligible to participate in this competition. Lesson Plan and/or TLM aiming at the promotion of the innovative pedagogies in the light of NEP 2020 for enjoyable and engaging learning. Last Date of Contest is 20th September 2024.

Objectives of Inter-College Lesson Plan/LTM Competition

This competition will provide student-teachers an opportunity to:
** develop potential for preparing Lesson Plan and/or TLM based on NEP 2020 recommendations.
** organise and reflect their innovative idea about content/concept
** create a healthy competition to excel in their professional lives.
** demonstrate budding teachers’ innovative teaching skills.
** appraise the best practices in teaching-learning process.

Eligibility of Inter-College Lesson Plan/LTM Competition

All B.Ed. / B.El.Ed. students of Delhi and NCR degree colleges/ institutions/ universities are eligible to participate in this competition.

Instructions for ICC LP and TLM

A. The Lesson Plan and/or TLM Competition is divided into three categories:
Classes 6th to 8th
Classes 9th – 10th
Classes 11th -12th

B. The submissions can be done in any one of the four subject areas :
Languages ,Social sciences,Mathematics and Natural sciences
Applied subjects o(if any ) may be considered under the general categories mentioned above.

C. Criteria for developing TLM for Inter College Competition
NEP connect-reference to NEP 2020 that help outline the objectives must be given

D. The Lesson Plan may be created around the following :
1. It is mandatory to incorporate at least one of the suggested pedagogies/ methods to enrich the lesson plan such as
** Sports Integration
** Story telling method
** Art integration
** Universal Design of Learning
** Differentiated learning
** Case study Method
** Inquiry based Method

2. The lesson plan should be deliverable in 35- 40 minutes.

3. Specific and clear instructions should be given for the possibilities of:
Using the Lesson Plan in an inclusive classroom (example autistic children, visually impaired learners etc.) may be a part of the class.
Incorporation of SDGs/ 21st Century Skills/Addressing Cultural diversity

4.Sample Lesson/Unit Plan Format
The students may use the sample lesson plan for preparing their LPs, they may modify it on the basis of the specific pedagogies they use in their lesson plan.

Assessment of the LP/TLM will be on the following basis:
** Originality of the idea
** Alignment with NEP 2020
** Incorporation of suggested innovative pedagogy (any one)
** Presentation of the LP (submitted in a video form)
** Coverage of all the aspects of the LP
** Scope of being Multidisciplinary in nature
** Integration of ICT
** Time management
** Effectiveness of the LP/TLM for the classroom
** Consideration of the previous knowledge of the learner in LP/TLM
** Cost effectiveness
** Continuous and Effective participation of the learners
** LP/TLM being inclusive in nature
** Consideration to be used for Divyang students
** Scope of assessing the different domains of the learners

How to Participate in the Lesson Plan/LTM Competition?

All the participants must register using the link mentioned below:

** Good quality PDF of the Lesson Plan / instructional video of the Teaching Learning Material must be attached in the Google Form.
** First page of the Lesson Plan must have student’s details [Name, Enrollment No., Father’s Name, College/Institution/University Name].
** Plagiarism report of the Lesson Plan must be attached in the Google Form.
** Copyright certificate has to be attached in the Google Form.
