What is Sony LIV KBC Junior?
‘KBC Junior’ ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati-Season 16’ Skill Based Online Contest 2024 is organized by Culver Max Entertainment Private Limited and can be played on the Sony LIV App. Anyone who is an Indian citizen, residing in India, of age 8 to 15 years as on September 02, 2024 and of sound health and mind can register for the KBC Junior contest. From among all the Valid Entries received, a total of approximately 560 Valid Entries will be selected by the randomizer software.

Eligibility of KBC Junior
Participant(s) means any natural person(s) who participates in the KBC Junior contest and who
(i) is of the age 8 (eight) to 15 (fifteen) years (both inclusive) as on September 02, 2024
(ii) is a citizen of India residing in India
(iii) is of sound mind and health and
(iv) enters into and participates in the KBC Junior basis the unconditional consent of his or her Parent/ Legal Guardian for such entry and participation in accordance with the Rules and Regulations as defined in this document.
How To Participate In The KBC Junior?
a) The Participants can participate in the KBC Junior by registering on the Sony LIV App.
** The KBC Junior contest will be accessible for participation on the Sony LIV App from September 02, 2024 to September 09, 2024.
** One question having four multiple choice answer options will be aired each day (of the KBC Junior Week, inclusive of start date and end date) during the telecast of the Show on the Channel,beginning from September 02, 2024 to September 09, 2024.
The quiz will be available as per the following schedule:
b) The above-mentioned schedule could be added to, modified or cancelled based on programming/ technical requirements and in the event the Show is for any reason rescheduled, extended, cancelled or terminated early at the sole discretion of CMEPL.
c) In addition to these Rules and Regulations, the participation in the KBC Junior is also governed by the terms and conditions and privacy policy of the Sony LIV App.
Steps for Registration of KBC Junior
1. Download the SonyLIV application from the application store. Please note, the application download is free of cost, however data charges may apply. For further details on data charges, please contact your service provider.
2. Click on “KBC Junior” banner/ Access “KBC Junior” from the menu.
3. Enter the Participant’s name
4. Enter the Parent/Legal Guardian’s email ID. Please note that We will be able to get in touch with the Participant via the shared email ID.
5. The Parent/Legal Guardian’s mobile number. Please note that we will be able to get in touch with the Participant via the Parent/Legal Guardian, only if the mobile number that has been shared is registered with the service provider in India.
6. Choose the gender of the Participant.
7. Select the age from the options provided. Please note that only those Participants will be considered for participation in the Show who have completed 08 (eight) years of age and are below the age of 15 (Fifteen) as on September 02, 2024.
8. Please select your area of residence as per the options provided (you should have documented proof for your address)
9. Please have the Participant select an answer option (A/B/C/D) for the general knowledge- based question to complete the registration process. The entries that are received as per the above mentioned registration process by the Company within the stipulated time (“Valid Entries”) will be considered for further shortlisting process.
10. An on-going Participant could lose the opportunity to play one or more questions, in any of the following scenarios:
i. Where anyone answers a call / message / etc. on the device where the Participant is playing KBC Junior.
ii. Where a Parent and/or Legal Guardian and/or Participant exits the Sony LIV App being used by the Participant in the course of playing the KBC Junior;
iii. Where there is a network drop or battery drain-out in the course of playing the KBC Junior.
iv. Where the device on which KBC Junior is being played hangs during the course of playing the KBC Junior.
v. Where the KBC Junior or the ability of a Participant to play the KBC Junior is affected by any other network / IT / phone issues.
11. Once the answer has been submitted for a question, the Participant will not be allowed to change it. If no confirmation is received for answer submission, the server has not received the response and the Participant would be required to answer again.
12. Post clicking of the answer, the Participant(s) will not be permitted to modify / alter / change the answer submitted.
13. Only the answers received within the Stipulated Time will be considered valid.
14. Any claims/queries pertaining to the correctness and authenticity of the questions and answers asked in any round of the KBC Junior contest shall be governed by the terms and conditions of the Sony LIV App.

Q. What are the different modes of registration?
A. You can register by answering the question on the Sony LIV App. The SonyLIV App is available for download from the Google Playstore and Apple Appstore.
Q. What will it cost me to register via the app?
A. Sony LIV App: All registrations from the Sony LIV application will be free of cost, however data charges may apply. For further details please contact your service provider.
Q. When will I know the result of the registration?
A. If the answer provided by you was both valid and correct and you were shortlisted by the randomizer based on the pre-defined reservation criteria, you will receive a call from us in around ten (10) working days from the date of close of registration lines for that question.
Q. How will I know the result of the registration?
A. If the answer provided by you was both valid and correct and you were shortlisted by the randomizer based on the pre-defined reservation criteria, we will get in touch with you on your registered number. Please answer the phone yourself.
Q. Can I choose my preferred date, time and venue for audition?
A. No. The venue, date and time for registration of Auditionees will be intimated and cannot be changed or modified to suit Auditionee’s requirements. If the shortlisted Auditionee chooses to decline the attendance for the same, (s)he renounces further participation in KBC Junior.
Q. What if I am unable to make it for the auditions?
A. Inability to attend the auditions on the specified date and time will close and/or terminate further participation in KBC Junior.
Q. How will I know the result of the ground audition round?
A. The Auditionees who are shortlisted on the basis of the audition round will get a call from CMEPL through its producers informing them of selection in the Fastest Finger First round of the show.
Q. Will I have to bear all expenses in order to be present for the audition round?
A. Yes, all expenses directly or indirectly connected with being present for the auditions (travel, conveyance, lodging, stay, meals, etc.) will be borne by the Parent/Legal Guardian of the Auditionee.
