What is MyGov Slogan Contest For National Tuberculosis Elimination?

Slogan Contest For National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme 2024 is organized by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare in collaboration with MyGov. This competition is open to all the citizens of India. Only one slogan per candidate will be eligible. The entry is required to be submitted on the MyGov portal. Central TB Division will distribute ‘Certificate of Appreciation’ to 5 short listed entries. Last Date of Contest is 30th September 2024.

Objectives of Slogan Writing Competition

The main objectives of the slogan writing competition are to:
1. Create awareness among audience/community members about Tuberculosis.
2. Encourage the audience to creatively express their ideas on solutions to the specific problem statement mentioned above
3. To motivate participants to seek knowledge about TB and help in making India TB-free.

The Ministry of Health & Family Welfare is implementing an ambitious National Strategic Plan to End the TB Epidemic in India. While considerable progress has been made in this direction, there are significant challenges that require community participation to address the problem statement that once addressed will expedite India’s achievement of SDG TB targets on TB.

In reference to this Central TB Division, the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare in collaboration with MyGov is hosting a Slogan Contest to tap the creativity of community members in developing slogans to address the problem statement:
1. 60% of individuals who have symptoms of TB did not seek care from a provider
2. One main reason for not seeking care was due to the stigma associated with TB

Technical Parameters of Slogan Contest

1. The slogan should be original.
2. It should be simple in language and can be in both English and Hindi.
3. The slogan should be grammatically correct and in short sentences with a word limit of 10 words.
4. The slogan should address the specific problem statement shared above.
5. Only one slogan per candidate will be eligible
6. People from all walks of life including TB survivors / their family members, Frontline Healthcare workers, etc are encouraged to participate.
7. Any deviation from the said specification shall be liable to be disqualified.
8. All the entries shall be scrutinised and short-listed based on the best concept, correct format, and creative imagination used, by a selection committee comprising Senior Officials from the Central TB Division, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.

Gratification of Slogan Contest for National Tuberculosis Elimination

Top 5 shortlisted entries will receive a Certificate from the Central TB Division, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.

Terms and Conditions of Slogan Contest

1. This competition is open to all the citizens of India.
2. Participants should make sure that his/ her MyGov profile is accurate and updated for further communication. This includes details such as name, country declaration, complete postal address, email ID, phone number, etc. Entries with incomplete profiles would not be considered.
3. The entry is required to be submitted on the MyGov portal.
4. The Central TB Division will develop a communication campaign based on any or all selected slogans received.
5. The Slogans can be submitted in either English or Hindi.
6. Participants can take part in the contest by registering on MyGov (mygov.in)
7. Copyrights will solely be with Central TB Division, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare once submitted for the competition.
8. The entry must not contain any provocative, objectionable, or inappropriate content.
9. The 5 short listed entries must share their consent to the use of their names in any publicity carried out by Central TB Division, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare without any compensation.
10. There will be no notification to participants of entries not short-listed.
11. All entries will be judged on the basis of creativity, originality, and composition by the Central TB Division.
12. Central TB Division and MyGov reserves the right to reject any entry, which it does not feel is suitable or appropriate or which does not conform to any of the conditions listed above.
13. Central TB Division and MyGov reserves the right to cancel or amend all or any part of the Contest and/ or the Terms & Conditions/Technical Parameters/ Evaluation Criteria and withdraw the activity at any time. The participants are solely responsible for keeping themselves updated regarding the same.
14. However, any changes to the Terms & Conditions/ Technical Parameters/Evaluation Criteria, or cancellation of the Contest, will be updated/ posted on the MyGov platform.
15. Entries must be made by the closing date and in the manner set out in the Terms and Conditions. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.
16. Central TB Division and MyGov accept no responsibility for any damage, loss, or injury of any kind suffered by any participants in entering the contest, including because of any participant’s entry getting short listed or not getting short listed.
17. In case of any dispute, the jury’s decision will be final.
18. Central TB Division and MyGov will not accept any responsibility for lost entries, late or incomplete, or not transmitted due to computer error or any other error beyond the organizer’s reasonable control. Please note proof of submission of the entry is not proof of receipt of the same.
19. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, organizers reserve the right to amend or withdraw from the competition at any time. For the avoidance of doubt, this includes the right to amend these terms and conditions.
20. The Participant shall abide by all the rules and regulations of participating in the competition from time to time.
21. By entering the competition, the participant accepts and agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, mentioned here.
