What is Prathidhwani Qisa Short Film Festival?
13th Edition of Prathidhwani Qisa 2024 – PQFF24 Short Film Festival is organized by Prathidhwani, Welfare. The contest is open to all IT &ITeS employees across India. Only films produced after 1st January 2024 will be eligible to participate. Registration fee for each short film is Rs.1000/-.
Eligibility of Prathidhwani Qisa Film Festival
1. PQFF’24- Short Film Festival for IT&ITeS Employees, is conducted by Prathidhwani, non profit welfare organisation of IT&ITeS employees. Screening of films will be held on 2024 December at Trivandrum
2. The contest is open to all IT &ITeS employees across India and the selection process is subjected to the film festival committee’s approval
3.The Director of the short film must be an employee of an IT firm in India. The Director must submit a passport-size photo and valid proof of employment, preferably a letter from HR.
4. Only films produced after 1st January 2024 will be eligible to participate. Films screened during the previous editions of PQFF are not eligible to contest.
Rules & Regulations of Prathidhwani Qisa Film Festival
** Short films can be of any genre.
** All submissions must be the intellectual property of the submitters & must have permission for use of all content rights including music contained in the film. Prathidhwani or Prathidhwani Film Club or PQFF ‘24 is not responsible for unauthorized use of any copyrighted material.
** The running time of the short films should not be less than 3 minutes excluding titles and credits and should not exceed 45 minutes.
** All films must be submitted as USB for consideration by the selection committee (Data with 720p resolution is preferred).
** Short films can be in any language. However, films other than English or Malayalam must be subtitled in English.
** The festival committee reserves the right to accept or refuse any film without assigning any reason whatsoever.
** The selection of the Films for the PQFF 2024 will be announced prior to screening Schedule announcement
** PQFF ’24 reserves the right to use excerpts and pictures from the film for promotion and public relations purposes.
** No refund of travel expenses will be provided for the participants attending the festival.
** Each participant can send as many entries as he/she likes, but with separate entry, preview DVD/USB, synopsis/description, still photographs, Posters should be enclosed.
How to Register for PQFF?
** To participate in the fest the Director of the short film must be an employee of an IT firm in India. The running time of the film should be between 3 to 45 minutes. Short films that had participated in the previous editions of the Qisa film festivals will not be eligible to participate this year.
** Registration fee for each short film is Rs.1000/-.
** The registration fee can be handed over to Prathidhwani representatives directly or transferred to Prathidhwani account
