VIT Mathematical Meet 2016:

VIT Mathematical Meet – A State Level Math contest for school children is a mega annual event organized by the Mathematics Division of School of Advanced Sciences, VIT University in order to create and encourage the mathematical inventiveness in young minds at the school level.

Theme: “Mathematics for Digital World ” 23rd January 2016 (Saturday)

The Mathematics division of VIT University is pleased to announce the VIT Mathematical Meet – 2016, the 20th Annual Celebrations of the VIT Mathematics Association, to be held at Technology Tower, VIT University, Vellore on 23rd, January, 2016 (Saturday) from 7:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.

** Consolation Prizes to all Competent Participants

Instructions For Registration:

** Events will be conducted for Tamil and English medium students separately (Except Mathematical Model & Mathematical Quiz) and awards / certificates will be given accordingly.
** The Registered teams/students should report at 07.30 A.M. on 23.01.2016 at the venue.
** For Quiz and Model, a school shall sponsor one team (atmost 4 students) only at each level.
** For individual events, no limit for the number of participants from each school.
** One student can participate in ONLY ONE EVENT.
** TA/DA will not be paid.
** Lunch, Tea and Snacks will be provided for all participants.
** Registration fees shall be paid either by cash at VIT cash counter (after getting the acknowledgement/signature from the conveners) or by DD drawn in favour of ‘VIT University’ payable at Vellore.
** Please avoid Spot Registrations. Spot Registration fee is 50% extra with the regular fee.
** The paid registration fee will not be refunded at any circumstances.
** A common DD may be drawn on behalf of all the participants from each school.

Please submit/send the dully filled Registration Form along with the VIT Cash Counter Receipt / DD on or before 18.01.2016 (Monday) in person/by courier/by post to the following mailing address:

Instructions For Accommodation:
If the outside participants and their accompanying persons are in need of accommodation facility in our VIT campus, please mention your requirements in the Registration Form so that we can arrange the accommodation in our VIT Hostels on the basis of nominal payment. After registering your participation, hostel accommodation fee and contact details for accommodation will be intimated to you through your registered mail / phone.
