Topic: “Good Governance, Social Justice and Human Rights”.

Details :
** The Human Rights Commission is going to organize an essay competition to encourage the creative writing in Hindi in different subjects on “Human Rights”
** Do the topic entitled “Good Governance, Social Justice and Human Rights” for the people of SC, ST and DEC communities

Terms & conditions :
** Indian citizen may participate only.
** Sending essay for the competition should be original and the writer should from SC, ST and OBC communities.
** Caste Certificate should be enclosed along with application.
** Essay should be computer typed and should be 4 copies with Spiral Binding in which the name of the writer and other details should not be written in 3 copies.
** The correspondence of the writer along with Pine code must be written on one entry.
** The last date for sending essay is 151th July, 2015.
** Copyright of the essay received by the Commission shall be their writer / writers.
** All the winners of the competition will be awarded in a function.
** Minimum words for the essay competition is 1500 words.
** The winners of the competition shall be in 3 groups i.e. 1st, 2nd, 3rd prizes with a cash of Rs. 12,000 8,000 and 5,000 — respectively along with commemoration symbol & shawl.
** Entries after the last date will not be considered.
** Information of awarded essay will be displayed at the Commissions website and also will be informed to the concerned writers through letter.
** In the position of any disputes, the decisions of the Commission shall be Final

About Us :
North-Eastern Hill University was set up by an Act of Parliament and notified on 19th July 1973. The objectives of the University, as laid down in the act, are “to disseminate and advance knowledge by providing instructional and research facilities in such branches of learning as it may deem fit; to pay special attention to the improvement of the social and economic conditions and welfare of the people of the hill areas of the North-eastern region, and in particular, the intellectual, academic and cultural advancement”.
