** Saevus Wildlife India and Hem Chand Mahindra Foundation (HCMF) launches the “3rd edition” of a unique, never-before seen initiative called …. “Youth4clicks” , where the best of upcoming talent will be mentored by some of biggest professionals of wildlife photography in the country.

** 16 Participants from the previous editions of Youth4Clicks are doing fabulously well for themselves in the Wildlife Photography domain. Through this workshop, young photographers in India would be taught Nature and Wildlife photography through practical on-field tutoring as well as theoretical aspects through presentations and demonstrations.
** The workshop is aimed at providing a platform to the deserving young photography enthusiasts who might have not have had similar learning opportunities owing to economic constraints. 8 Participants will be chosen for a Wildlife Photography workshop worth INR 1,00,000 each which is borne by HCMF.
** The upper age limit for participants attending the workshop will be less than 30 years on the date of commencement of the workshop. The participants will be selected through an elaborate process and taken to a national park for a 7 Days and 6 Nights where they will be trained on the various genre of wildlife photography.
Process of selection and eligibility criteria:
** Preference will be given to an economically disadvantaged participant
** Registrations will be invited on Saevus website from wildlife photographers across the country
** Only young photographers (age less than 30) will qualify for this workshop
** Possession of expensive camera equipment is not a prerequisite as on-field rental supports will be provided by the organisers
** Applications will be evaluated and shortlisting will be done based on a personal interview (online) and the portfolio submitted
** The workshop will have a team of two distinguished wildlife photographers as mentors
** It will be an exclusive workshop with a teacher – student ratio of 1:4
** The workshop will be of 7 days duration
** Experts will mentor the participants through classroom as well as on field sessions
** Only 8 best participants will be selected for the final workshop
** Participants will have to make their own arrangements to travel to the workshop venue.
** One Winner and one Runner-up prize will be awarded
** The overall winner will be featured in an exclusive portfolio section in the Saevus Wildlife Magazine
** The last date to register for this workshop is 15th February, 2016
Who can Apply:
Anybody who is passionate about photography and wishes to learn the fine nuances of Wildlife Photography and is below 30 years of age may apply.
