Welcome to a first-of-its-kind Photography Contest exclusively for Kids. Where learning is a part of the bigger picture and growth is the focus.

Highlights – Open Photography Contest:
** Date: 14th February, 2016
** Venue: Decathlon Anubhava, Yelahanka
** Timings: 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
** Age limit: 11-16 years
** Photography training session and Q&A
** Performance Tasks to identify the best talent.
** Short listing of the best candidates by panel of experts.

Contest Structure:
** Registration for the contest will be open on January 25th, 2016.
** Participants are allotted time slots to be present at the venue for training.
** Confirmation of Registration will be sent to the registered email IDs along with the Contest details and specifications.
** Parents should accompany their children to the venue on the event day.
** Participants should show the the “Confirmation of registration” at the Registration Desks for entry in to the contest arena.
** Callouts for the participants will be announced based on the time slots. They are expected to report accordingly to exercise the complete programme.
** Training will be conducted in batches and will be scheduled for 30 Minutes.
** The techniques are beginner-friendly and will be taught to understand them in the simplest manner possible.
** Post training, participants will be sent to photograph the performance tasks assigned to them.
** Tasks are timer based and all the 4 tasks should be completed within the allotted time span of 25 mins. NOTE: There will not be any extension on this regard.
** Best photos will be shortlisted by a panel of experts, renowned for their sublime work and contribution to photography.
** Winners will be announced by the end of the day along with the Prize distribution.

Registration :

** Interested candidates shall register by paying the registration fees of Rs. 200 per participant.
** Payment shall be made via online transfer. Details will be mentioned once the registrations open.
** Only Children aged between 11-16 years are allowed to participate.

Participation:
** The participants will be assigned an unique “Participation Code” which shall be mentioned in the emails sent to the registered email ID.
** It is mandatory for all the children participating in this event to bring along with them their valid school ID cards (for verification and identification purposes).
** If the participation is on-the-spot basis at the venue, the parents shall sign a Letter of Understanding to allow the kids to participate in the contest.
** Training slots for on-the-spot registrations will be assigned depending on the availability.
** The School ID along with the registration confirmation email should be displayed at the registration desks to proceed with the contest enrollment.
** The participants should prominently display the stickers/bands allotted to them containing their unique code at all times during the event.
** The parents may accompany the kids only until the registration desks, beyond which their entry is restricted.
** Participants should bring along with them their own cameras. Cameras will NOT be provided by the organizers at the venue.

Training :
** Training session will be held in batches in the training arena.
** Training will involve various concepts and techniques that should be adapted by photographers in different scenarios.
** The training session also includes few pointers on the tasks, subjects and explains the methods that should be followed to get the right photo.
** Photography comes with it a lot of responsibility; one being the Etiquette. Simple rules that should form mandate to every person holding a camera like the behavior, conduct and concern one should have of the surroundings will form an important part of the training.

Contest Skill Testing:
** Instructions to execute each task will be described during the training and the participant shall follow these instructions while photographing the tasks.
** Merit Points for each task will be based on their adept execution of the task and appropriate display of the activity.
** Submission: The participants will be helped by the event crew to submit their photographs at the Collection desk.
** Only one photo per task will be considered for allocating the merit points.
** Photos once submitted CANNOT be altered.
** Selection of the winning photos is in complete discretion of the expert panel. The participants, event organizers or hosts DO NOT have any say over the decisions.
** EXIF Information,/span> of the camera will be checked during selection, manipulation of photos will lead to disqualification.
** Computers shall not be used to edit the photos.
