ICC Twenty20 Fantasy League
These Terms of Play apply if you play the ICC World Twenty20 2016 Fantasy League (the “Game”), which is operated by Sportz Interactive, whose registered office is at B-401, Mastermind 3, Royal Palms Goregaon East, Mumbai 400065, India (the “Promoter”).

** The terms “International Cricket Council”, “ICC”, “us” or “we” refer to ICC and/or any of its group companies. The terms “you” or “User(s)” refers to the entrants in the Game.
** THE GAME IS PROVIDED TO USERS FREE OF ANY CHARGE. NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO PLAY OR TO WIN.
** The Game is only open to persons residing in a country where the Game is not prohibited or otherwise unlawful. Employees of ICC and the Promoter, their associated, affiliated and subsidiary companies, and their families, agents and Game sponsors and any person connected with the Game are excluded from winning a prize.
HOW TO ENTER :
** The Game will commence on Tuesday 8th March 2016 and end on Sunday 4th April 2016. It is a condition of entry to the Game that you agree to and accept these Terms of Play, as amended from time to time, in their entirety.
** Entries to the Game are accepted by completing the entry form and entering a fantasy team on the website accessible through fantasy.icc-cricket.com (the “Website”). You may also register to play the Game through your Facebook account and, should you choose to register in this manner, you hereby agree to permit ICC to access, store and use your full name, email address, date of birth, gender, city and country of residence from your Facebook account, for the purpose of enabling and facilitating your participation in the Game. Alternatively, you can use your email to register to play the Game. You may register multiple User accounts, subject to these Terms of Play.
** As part of the registration process Users shall have to check the box on the registration page confirming that they have read and agree to these Terms of Play.
** Incorrect, incomplete or corrupted entries will not be accepted. The decision of ICC and the Promoter shall be final. Correctly submitted entries will result in an acceptance email being sent to the email address/Facebook account used in the registration process. This email will confirm your email address, password and team name.
** ICC and the Promoter reserve the right to refuse to accept team names that are deemed (in the sole opinion of ICC and the Promoter) to be inappropriate or offensive.
HOW TO PLAY :
** You must select a squad composed of 11 players from the player pool. Each player in the player pool will be attributed a “price”, determined on the basis of (a) his playing role (i.e. batsman, bowler, all-rounder, wicketkeeper); and (b) the nation which he is representing in the Men’s ICC World Twenty20 2016. Your account will be allocated 1,000,000 “credits” to be offset against the “price” of the players you select in your squad.
** Your squad must be composed of: (a) 1 wicketkeeper; and (b) a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 7 batsmen; and (c) a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 4 all-rounders; and (d) a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 5 bowlers, and may contain no more than 7 players from the same participating nation at any given time. The allocated playing role of some players may be varied during the Game at the discretion of ICC and the Promoter.
The players included in the player pool, their classifications (batsman/bowler/all-rounder/wicketkeeper) and their notional “prices” have been determined by ICC and the Promoter. Players may be added to and/or removed from the player pool during the Game. No correspondence shall be entered into in relation to any detail of the player pool.
HOW TO SCORE POINTS :
Points are awarded to players based on their performance in each match of the Men’s ICC World Twenty20 2016 as follows:
Batting Points :
1 point per run
Strike Rate Ranges – points awarded when players score a minimum of 20 runs scored or face a minimum of 15 balls in a match:
00.00 to 90.00 = minus 5 points
90.01 to 120.00 = 0 points
120.01 to 150.00 = 5 points
150.01 to 180.00 = 10 points
180.01 & above = 15 points
10 points for a player scoring 50 runs
15 points for a player scoring 75 runs
20 points for a player scoring 100 runs, and a further 10 points for every 25 runs thereafter.
3 points for a player hitting a boundary 6
1 points for a player hitting a boundary 4
Minus 5 points for a player being dismissed for a duck.
Bowling Points :
30 points per wicket
50 points for a hat-trick
Economy Rate Ranges – points awarded when players bowl a minimum of 1 over in a match)
0.00 to 4.00 = 15 points
4.01 to 5.50 = 10 points
5.50 to 7.00 = 5 points
7.01 to 8.50 = 0 points
8.51 & above = Minus 5 points
15 points for a player taking 2 wickets in a match
20 points for a player taking 3 wickets in a match
25 for a player taking 4 wickets in a match, and an additional 10 points for every wicket taken in the same match thereafter
20 points for a player bowling a maiden
Fielding Points :
10 points for a player taking a catch
10 points for a player effecting a stumping
10 points for a player involved in a run out (as attributed on the official scorecard)
Bonus Points :
30 points for winning the official Man of the Match award
10 points for each player on the winning team in a match other than a semi-final or the final
20 points for each player on the winning team in a semi-final or the final
PRIZES :
** Any information related to prizes can be found on the “Prizes” page of the Website.
** ICC may, in its sole and absolute discretion, and on such terms as it deems fit, provide prizes to Users for participating in and winning the Tournament Mode and any or each of the Daily Mode versions of the Game. Prize winners shall be notified by ICC by email within 72 hours of the Game’s completion and will be required to respond to that email notification within 7 days of the date of ICC’s prizewinner notification email. Failure to respond to a prizewinner notification email within this time may result in disqualification. Neither ICC nor the Promoter shall be liable to any User if a prize cannot be taken by a prizewinner for any reason beyond the control of ICC or the Promoter.
** All prizes are sourced and delivered by ICC. The sponsors of the Game (if any) shall not bear any responsibility with regard to the delivery of prizes. Prizes will be awarded in accordance with the details set out above and in the Prizes page of the Website, as amended from time to time. ICC will agree with the prizewinners the method of dispatch of the prizes (which shall be between 4-8 weeks from the final match of the ICC World Twenty20 2016) and proof of dispatch will be considered proof of receipt. Any local duties and taxes, if applicable, on the delivery of the prizes will be borne by the prizewinners.
** Entry into the Game constitutes permission for ICC and the Promoter, Game sponsors (if any) and/or their associated, affiliated and subsidiary companies to use the submitted names, team selections and photographs of Users at its discretion. All prizewinners shall be required to participate in any such publicity as ICC and/or the Promoter reasonably requires and any failure to comply with the foregoing may result in t8he disqualification of the prizewinner.
** Except where prohibited, participation in the Game constitutes your consent to ICC’s and the Promoter’s, and any of their respective agents’ use of your name, likeness, voice, opinions and biographical information for publicity, advertising, trade or promotional purposes in any media or manner, now known or hereafter devised, worldwide, without further payment, consideration, notice or approval.
** A User may only win 1 prize. In the event that a User has already won a prize, the next highest placed User (who is not already a prizewinner) will be judged to be the winner.
** ICC and the Promoter’s decision in relation to the award of prizes and all other matters associated with the Game will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. Prizes are nontransferable and there are no alternative prizes unless so determined by ICC and the Promoter. If for any reason it is not possible to provide the stated prize, ICC and the Promoter reserve the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equivalent monetary value.
