Kisan Geet Contest :
Create a “Kisan Geet”, farmers song (lyrics only) on the farmers welfare schemes of the Government of India, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare highlighting the important schemes of the Government such as Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bhima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana (PMKSY), etc.

The lyrics should be such that they catch the attention of the farmers and create awareness about the salient features of the schemes of the Government of India. The last date of submission is 9th March, 2016.
Kisan Geet Contest Terms and Conditions:
** The Competition is open to all Citizens of India.
** Entries will be judged on creativity, originality, composition, content and impact.
** A commendation certificate will be given to the selected winners.
** The winning song/lyrics will be the intellectual property of the Government of India and the author cannot exercise any right over it. The prize winning song/lyrics is meant to be used by Government of India for promotional and display purposes, in our Kisan Call centres, IEC material and also for any other use as may be deemed appropriate.
** The song/lyrics must not contain any provocative, objectionable or inappropriate content.
** Multiple entries by the same participant will be considered. There is no bar on number of entries.
** The winner will have to give an undertaking stating the right to submit the song/lyrics to the competition. Anyone found infringing on others’ copyright will be disqualified from the competition. Government of India does not bear any responsibility for copyright violations or infringements of intellectual property carried out by the participants.
** All the entries received will be evaluated by the Screening Committee.
** The disqualified entries shall not be used by the Ministry for any purpose and the Ministry shall have no intellectual rights over the same.
** The decision of the Selection Committee will be final and binding on all the contestants and it does not owe any clarifications to any participants for any or their decisions.
Technical Parameters:
** Participants should attach the lyrics of the song in word format, in Hindi (Unicode).
** Please note that the song/lyrics must be original and should not violate any provision of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957.
** The lyrics should not be more than 120 words.
** All entries must be submitted to the creative corner section of MyGov.in
** Make sure your MyGov profile is accurate and updated since we will be using the information on the profile for further communication. This includes your name, photo and phone number. Entries with incomplete profiles would be deleted.
** Any legal proceedings arising out of the completion/its entries/winners shall be subject to local jurisdiction of Delhi state.
