Unified Cyber Olympiad:

India has seen a spectacular success in IT and computers which is acknowledged around the world. But computer education in our country is highly fragmented and without any common goal of platform.

Realizing the huge importance of streamlined and competitive education in computers and IT and with a view to fortifying India’s success, Unified Council is foraying into its Unified Cyber Olympiad.

Eligibility:
Student of classes 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 & 10 are eligible to participate in this examination.

Exam Schedule: (1st LeveL)
Date of Examination : 21-10-2016 (Friday)
Time : 11:00 a.m – 12:00 noon
Last Date for Receipt of Applications: 27-08-2016

Exam Fee:
Rs. 120/- (Rupees Hundred and Twenty only). Students desirous of referring of Model Question Paper should add Rs. 40 for a set Model/Previous Question Papers.

Exam Structure:
** This exam will be conducted in two levels.
** First level will be conducted in the school premises of the respective schools.
** Second level for the top 500 students from each class will be conducted in the nearest selected State Head Quarters/Main Towns.

Exam Pattern:
** The medium of the test will be English.
** There will be a different question paper for each class.
** All the questions are of the objective-type with no negative marking for wrong answers.

Detail of Awards:
Gold Medals & Cash Awards for the first 3 in each Class (Rank 1-3)
A. UCO-Topper will be awarded with Rs. 2, 00,000 cash prize*. The student who achieves the highest percentage of marks in among all the classes is declared as UCO Topper.
B. The top 3 Rankers in each will be awarded with Tablet PC + a Memento + a Medal.
C. Next 7 rankers of each class (Ranks 4-10) will be awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 1000 each.
D. The next 15 rankers of each class (Ranks 11-25) of classes II-X will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 500 each.

Prizes For Zone Toppers:
Top 3 rankers in each Zone will be awarded with 2 CDpack of Britannica Encyclopedia of India and The Weather – 2 CD PACK worth Rs. 1090. , a Medal and certificate of appreciation.

Note:
Zone wise ranks are declared after excluding the top 100 ranks across the country.

School / Class Topper:
** We declare School Topper per School sponsoring a minimum of 50 students. Class Topper per class declared for a minimum of 5 Students. Class 2nd and 3rd rankers are declared if no. of students are more than 10 and 15 respectively. School & Class Topper award will be declared for only those classes which are not in top 100 and Zone toppers.

** UCO Topper* The student who achieves 100% marks in any of the classes will be awarded with prize money of Rs.2, 00,000. If none of them achieves the same, then the student who achieves the highest percentage of marks among all the classes will be awarded with Rs.1, 00,000. If in case there is more than one student who achieves the same, the prize money will be distributed equally. Each topper will get either this prize or the regular prize
