**  Contest for Start Ups in the Maritime and associated Sectors Winner takes it all – 15,00,000 INR cash prize

**  In support of the Maritime Summit 2016 and Start- Up India initiative, DP World has partnered with Invest India and Ministry of Shipping to launch “DP Prize – Make in India”.

**  A start-up accelerator for budding young entrepreneurs in the maritime and associated sectors, this is one of the most awaited contest in this sector. The aim of this initiative is to provide a platform for start-ups to present their innovative ideas and get an opportunity to win prize money of 15,00,000 INR.

**  ‘Make in India’ includes some path breaking initiatives designed to facilitate investment, foster innovation, protect intellectual property, and build best-in-class manufacturing infrastructure.

**  “DP World Prize – Make in India” contest is another step in this direction as it acts as a catalyst for young Indian entrepreneurs in the shipping and maritime sector to drive the entire value chain from innovation to manufacturing in India.

Details of “DP World Prize – Make in India” Contest are as follows:
** The contest opens on March 23, 2016
** Last date for submitting entries is April 1st, 2016
** The 5 selected start-ups will be invited for the final pitch presentation at the Grand finale on April 5th, 2016 to a panel of eminent jury, who will then select the final winner
** The winning start-up company will receive the Grand prize winning money of 15,00,000 INR cash prize at the India Maritime Summit
** Jury will consist of eminent names and personalities from the Government, industry, shipping ministry and DP World
