All Goa Poster Competition :

As a prelude to the National Fire Service Day on 14th April 2016, the Directorate of Fire & Emergency Services is launching a series of activities to enhance the level of awareness among the citizens with stress on school children.

The National Theme for the year is ;
“ PREVENT FIRE ACCIDENT – PROMOTE NATION’S DEVELOPMENT”.

As a part this awareness campaign a Drawing Competition is organized for the Primary and Middle School Children of the State on 2nd April 2016.

The Competition is divided into two groups, Group-I (7 – 10 years)
Topic : Good Fire and Bad Fire and Group-II (11 – 14 years)
Topic : Fire Prevention and Life Safety. Drawing paper, pencil and crayons will be provided to the children participating in the competition.

The Department has identified the following schools as the centres for holding the competitions :
PANAJI – DON BOSCO HIGH SCHOOL, PANAJI, MAPUSA – GOVERNMENT PRIMARY MIDDLE SCHOOL, A.D.E.I. BUILDING, MAPUSA, VASCO – ST. ANDREW’S INSTITUTE (PRIMARY) SCHOOL, VASCO-DA-GAMA, GOA, PILERNE – LOURDES CONVENT HIGH SCHOOL, SALIGAO, PERNEM – GOVERNMENT PRIMARY MIDDLE SCHOOL, SURBANWADA, PERNEM, PONDA – GVMs ALMEIDA HIGH SCHOOL, PONDA-GOA, BICHOLIM –

(1) GOVERNMENT PRIMARY SCHOOL, MARKET, BICHOLIM-GOA.
(2) THE RAVINDRA BHAVAN, SANQUELIM, VALPOI – NAVODAYA VIDYALAYA SCHOOL, VALPOI-GOA, OLD-GOA – OLD GOA EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTE, KATYEBHAT, ELLA OLD-GOA, KUNDAIM – NEW ENGLISH HIGH SCHOOL, MANASWADA, KUNDAIM, GOA, MARGAO – ST. SEBASTIAN PRIMARY SCHOOL, AQUEM, MARGAO, CURCHOREM – NEW EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTE, CURCHOREM, CANACONA – CANACONA MUNICIPAL HALL, CHAUDI, CANACONA, VERNA – GOVERNMENT MIDDLE HIGH SCHOOL, CURPAWADO, CORTALIM – GOA.

** The participants are requested to report to the venues of the Competition at 10:00 hours. Each Group will have 3 Cash Prizes and Certificates besides participation Certificate for all participants.
