AGRI-TECH  Quiz Contest Rules:

** Only team entries are eligible and each team shall consist of max two persons

** The decision of the quiz-master will be final .
** The participants shall not be allowed to use mobile or other electronic devices.
** The ques ions shall be in the form of multiple choice or True / False statement, Specific-answer ques on etc.
** Audience shall not give any hints or clues to the competitors.
** Replacement of any participant of a team is not allowed a tier registration
** Teams selected for the final rounds will be allowed to give themselves an appropriate name related to the compete on by which they may want to be known

Elimination Round : (In case more than 10 teams register by the last date)
** Each team would be given a set of ques on paper containing 15 multiple choice objective type ques ons
** Time limit – 15 minutes
** Only 6 Teams would be selected for STAGE

Rounds:
** In case of e between 2 or more teams, further 5 questions would be asked for final selection
** The selected teams shall have to appear for the final round

Final Quiz Stage Rounds:
Round 1 : A ques on will be asked to a team and if they are unable to answer it will be passed to the next team – Rounds 4- 10 questions
** Each team would be asked 4 questions each. (Objective questions with options)
** 10 marks for correct answer and 5 negative marks for wrong answer.
** If a team cannot answer the ques on, they can pass the ques on & then the ques on would be forwarded to the next team.
** Answering me is only 30 seconds.
** Team discussion is allowed.

Round 2: Rapid Fire Round: -Each team will be asked 10 questions one a er another in one minutes me- : 60 questions
** 10 marks for the correct answer and negative 5 marks for the wrong answer
** Answering me is only 3 seconds
** Team discussion is allowed
** If a team cannot answer the ques on, they can say pass for the next ques on. The ques on will not be forwarded to the next team. Round 3 – Buzzer Round- A ques on will be fired & the team who presses the buzzer first get to answer first – 5 Questions
** 10 marks for the correct answer and negative 5 marks for the wrong or if team doesn’t a er they press Buzzers. – No forwarding

Exhibition Rules:
Rule 1: Pre-registration on e-mail is required.
Rule 2 :Students may submit individual projects or work with one partner. Partners must register together on one form. No student can submit more than one project.
Rule 3 :Students are responsible for all aspects of the development of their entries.
Rule 4: Students must set up their project, remain with it throughout the judgement period, and remove it at the end of the day.
Rule 5: Students must be prepared to answer judges’ questions about the content and development of their projects; they should not give a formal narrative in response to the questions.
Rule 6: Students must supply all material, equipment, including extension cords. Outlets will be provided ONLY if requested on the entry form.
Rule 7 :Labels must be a ached to the back of the project with the student’s name, telephone number, and school name.
Rule 8: Commercially prepared kits or models cannot constitute a major por on of the project.
Rule 9 :Students are solely responsible for the security and safety of their equipment.
Rule 10 :Table exhibits only must fi t in the given space. Please be aware that space considerations may make it impossible for us to approve the request.
Rule 11: Some display tables are against a wall, but most are not. Therefore, students who are assigned to tables against a wall may not use the wall for display purposes.
Rule 12 :No hazardous, toxic or flammable materials are to be used. Candles, Bunsen burners and electrical heating devices (i.e., hot plates) are not allowed.
Rule 13 :Standard laboratory safety rules must be observed.
Rule 14: The organizing committee will review applications for completeness and appropriateness. Only approved applications will be accepted.
Rule 15 :Participants must abide by all rules and other judgments set for by the organizing committee. Failure to do so may result in the participant’s disqualification.
