#GumrahFan Contest :

1. STAR INDIA shall announce and market the Contest on the social media platforms/pages of STAR INDIA on Facebook and Twitter on 6th April, 2016.

2. The Contest shall be open for participation on 6th April, 2016 from IST 1200 hours up to IST 2000 hours (“Contest Period”) and any extensions/modifications as notified by Star India from time to time. STAR reserves all rights to make amendments to the Contest Period or such other terms and conditions stated herein, without giving prior notice.

3. The Contest shall comprise of a five (5) general questions pertaining to the Program trigerred on the Platforms that will be hosted on the Platforms every two (2) hours during the Contest Period (“Contest Questions”). The Contest Questions shall be triggered every two (2) hours on the Platforms starting from 1200 hours and ending at 2000 hours during the Contest Period viz.

4. To participate in the Contest and to be eligible for the Prize (as defined below), all persons interested in participating and /or Participants shall be mandatory required to do the following during the Period:
a. log in to either or both of the Platforms using his/her Twitter and/or Facebook account/credentials and click on the relevant page/tab of the Contest on the respective Platforms or in any other manner or form as may be prescribed /requested on the Platform(s).

b. For the purpose of participating in this Contest, it is mandatory that the interested Participant(s) mandatorily have either a valid Twitter account or a valid Facebook account and must be residing in India during the Period of the Contest.
c. Follow the Channel V Twitter Handle and/or Gumrah Facebook Page on the respective Platforms.
d. Allow access to the Twitter and Facebook profiles of the respective Participants to STAR INDIA.

e. The Participants shall then upload their answers to the Contest Questions on the respective Platform(s) within the Contest Period in the manner provided below:
Twitter – The Participant shall upload their answer to the respective Contest Question hosted on Channel V Twitter Handle by using the hashtag #GumrahFan and by tagging @ChannelvIndia in the ‘comments’ space of the respective Contest Question;

Facebook – The Participant shall upload their answer to the respective Contest Question hosted on Gumrah Facebook Page by using the hashtag #GumrahFan in the ‘comments’ space of the respective Contest Question

f. The Participant by submitting his Entry on the respective Platforms, agrees and undertakes to be unconditionally bound by the terms and conditions, terms of use, privacy policy and user generated content policy of Twitter, Inc. and Facebook, Inc. and acknowledge that such Platforms reserve the sole and exclusive right to make amendments to its terms and conditions from time to time

The Participant hereby agrees that any dispute arising between the Participant and any of the Platforms shall be resolved directly between such parties without any reference or recourse to STAR. The Participant will be solely responsible for complying with the terms stipulated by Twitter, Inc. and Facebook, Inc.

g. Star shall be free at any point of time to contact and /or communicate with the Participant(s) for availing any additional information and/or to verify any details as provided in relation to Entry and the Participant(s) shall unconditionally co-operate to facilitate the same.

Any incomplete Entry and /or Entries with incorrect and/or inadequate information, or which consist of content which is offensive or abusive or blasphemous or copied will be considered invalid, shall be considered null and void at the sole discretion of STAR INDIA and will be disqualified from participating in the Contest.

h. The Participant agrees and undertakes that the Entry submitted by him/her for the purpose of the Contest is in good taste, not obscene, vulgar, libelous, defamatory, insulting, annoying, etc.
