“MeraParivaar@StarParivaar Contest”  which will be hosted by Star India Private Limited (“STAR India/STAR”) on starparivaarawards.com  as a part of the promotion and marketing strategy for the upcoming televised event titled “STAR PARIVAAR AWARDS 2016” ,to be held on 27th April ,2016, which shall be later on telecast on Star Plus(“Channel”)

Principle Rules:
1. The Contest shall be hosted solely and exclusively on the Website the Contest shall commence on 16th April 2016from 00:00AM hours Indian Standard Time (“IST”) and will close on 20th April 2016at 23:59 hours IST (“Period”). STAR reserves all rights to make amendments to the Period or such other terms and conditions stated herein, without giving prior notice.

It shall be the sole responsibility of the Participant (s) to check the Terms and Conditions for the Contest on the Website from time to time. STAR also reserves the right to cancel and/or postpone the Contest without any prior intimation to the Participant (s).

2. The Contest shall strictly comprise of 3(three) multiple choice objective questions based on any shows of the Channel, triggered on the Platform during the Period (hereinafter collectively referred to as Question(s)). .

3. To participate in the Contest, all persons interested in participating and /or Participants shall be mandatorily required to do the following during the Period :
a. log in to the Website using his/her Facebook/Gmail account/credentials and click on the relevant page/tab/section of the Contest on the respective Platform or in any other manner or form as may be prescribed /requested on the Platform and provide his /her personal information as may be requested therein .

b. For the purpose of participating in this Contest, it is mandatory that the interested Participant (s) mandatorily have a valid Twitter or Facebook account and must be residing in India during the Period of the Contest.

c. Participant (s) shall thereafter be required to correctly answer all the Questions by providing the correct answers on the Website in the mode and manner as prescribed therein (hereinafter referred to as “Answer”). It is clarified that for the purpose of participating in the Contest and to be eligible for the Gratification , it is mandatory to r provide the correct Answer for all the Questions triggered on the Website .

For avoidance of doubt it is clarified that each and every Participant shall submit their full name, email id, the name of their city where they reside, contact number(s), etc. as requested on the Website in a manner and form, as may be requested and /or prescribed on the respective Platform(“Personal Information”).

d. For purposes of the Contest, “receipt” of Answer(s) occurs only when the website server records the Answer information upon the entrant clicking “Submit/Post” button. For sake of clarity, any automated receipt confirmation shall not constitute proof of actual receipt.

Logging onto the Website in the manner as stated hereinabove , mandatorily having a valid Gmail account or having a valid Facebook account and being a resident of India during the Period of the Contest, providing the correct Answers for the Questions , in the manner as stated therein, ,furnishing the Personal Information shall be considered as a complete and valid entry (“Entry”).

e. At the end of the Period on the basis of the Participant(s) having made a valid Entry, correct Answers to each and every objective Questions , STAR India shall at its discretion shortlist the Participant(s) . Subsequently out of this shortlisted Participant(s), STAR India shall select and declare 1(one) winner at the end of the Period (hereinafter collectively referred to as ‘Winner’).

f. The Winners would be contacted through Direct Message (Private Message) by STAR India through the Website. On Website (Private Message), Participant(s) would be asked to share their Contact Details (Name, Phone no.) on specific e-mail id.
