Simhasth Photo Contest

“Simhasth Kumbh Mahaparv” is one of the four “Mela” celebrated by largest human gathering on Earth. Simhasth Kumbh Mahaparv is rejoiced by holy dip in the sacred river Kshipra in incent and religious city Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh).

During this Simhasth – 2016 a wonderful opportunity to experience the unique, one of its kind amalgamation of culture and social vibrancy of Indian traditions.

** 1st Prize: Rs. 1,00,000/-(1)
** 2nd Prize: Rs. 51,000/-(2) (each)
** 3rd Prize: Rs. 21,000/- (3) (each)
** Consolation Prize: Rs. 10,000/- (10) (each)

Category: General (Amateur)
** 1st Prize: Rs. 25,000/- (1)
** 2nd Prize Rs. 15,000/- (2) (each)
** 3rd Prize Rs. 5,000/- (3) (each)
** Consolation Prize: Rs. 2,100 (10) (each)

Simhasth Photo Contest – Guidelines:
** To participate in “Simhasth Photo Contest”, there is no entry fee. Anyone can participate in this. No formalities, no paperwork.
** Simhasth Photo Contest is open to all. Any citizen or foreign national can participate. The photographs must be from “Simhasth 2016”.
** Be creative. Capture the unique moments of Simhasth Mahaparv.
** Mention clearly the place or the Ghaat from where the photograph was taken.
** Participants must submit their entries on: simhasthujjain.in/photo-contest/ or send their entries through following email on photo-contest@simhasthujjain.in in mandatory format.
** Photo size submission in Professional Category should between 4-10MB.
** Photo size submission in Fun or Amateur Category should be between 1-4MB.
** All photo submission should be in RAW/JPEG/TIFF format only.
** Digital Images quality should not be less than 300dpi & 2400 Pixels.
** One individual can only submit 3 photos in each category. Multiple entries will attract disqualification.
** Digitally manipulated photos (using programs like Photoshop or any other software) will be disqualified.
** Contest is open till 30th May. Anything received thereafter will not qualify for the Simhasth Photo Contest.
** Non-Simhasth Photos will be disqualified.
** You can also submit your photographs by posting your entry in a CD to the following address before 30th May 2016: “Simhasth Photo Contest”, Madhya Pradesh Madhyam, 40, Administrative Zone, Jail Rd, Arera Hills, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh 462011.
** The assessment of Photographs and the rights of selection will be in the hands of MP Govt. Authorities & its assigned officials.
** The decisions taken by the authorized committee shall be final and binding and no objection shall be entertained in this regard under any circumstances.
** Madhya Pradesh Govt. & Simhasth Mela Administration reserves the rights to all activities related to ‘Simhasth Photo Competition’, under the jurisdiction of Bhopal City (Madhya Pradesh).
** Copyright of the all entries will be vested with Madhya Pradesh Madhyam, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
