#MakesMyJourneyGreat Contest Terms & Conditions:

** The following are the terms and conditions governing the “#MakesMyJourneyGreat” contest (“Contest”) hosted by Star India Private Limited (“Star India”) for the promotion of the film “Whiplash” (“Film”) on Star Movies Select HD (“Channel”) from 9:00 pm to 11:10 pm on May 14th, 2016 (IST).

** The contest shall be held on Star Movies India Twitter profile at the URL https://twitter.com/starmoviesindia (“Twitter Page”) with the @StarMoviesIndia handle (“Twitter Handle”). The contest invites interested person’s to participate (“Participant(s))” by tweeting about people & incidents in their life that inspired and pushed them to give their best.

** Participants will also be required to answer one objective question posed during the content duration. All such tweets must be made using the hashtag “#WhatMakesMyJourneyGreat” (“Hashtag”) and Participant(s) must follow all required mandates herein below.

** The Contest shall commence on May 14th, 2016 at 6:30 pm Indian Standard Time (“IST”) and will end on May 14th, 2016 at 9:30 pm IST (“Contest Period/Period”). Any tweets received after the Contest Period shall not be valid or considered in the Contest.

Principle Rules:

1. To participate in the Contest the Participant(s) shall follow the procedure as detailed below:
a) Participant(s) must be citizens of India and of 18 (eighteen) years of age or above at the start date of the Contest Period. The Participant(s) should not have criminal conviction or an arrangement or a contract that prevents the Participant(s) from participating in the Contest.

b) Employees of and/or consultants of and/or persons hired on contract by Star India and the members of their immediate family members are ineligible from participating in the Contest.

c) All Participant(s) must have a valid Twitter account to be eligible to participate in the Contest. For the sake of clarity, it is hereby agreed to and confirmed by the Participant(s) that the same does not include a Twitter account opened and operated by a family member and/or friend of the Participant(s).

d) The Process of the Contest:
i. Participant(s) are required to tweet about people & incidents in their life that inspired and pushed them to give their best and answer one objective question posted on the Channel’s twitter Page during the Contest Period using the Hashtag and tagging the Twitter Handle. (“Entry/Entries”). For sake of clarity, all Entries shall be original/creative and novel and the answer to the objective question shall be correct.

ii. Entries submitted without the Hashtag and tagging the Twitter Handle shall be considered null and void. For the sake of clarity, it is to be noted that participants are required to answer all the questions put forth during the Contest Period in order to be eligible to be shortlisted for winning the Contest.

e) For the avoidance of doubt, for the purpose of calculation of the time period taken by the Participant(s) to publish an Entry, Star India shall rely on the time stamp of such Entry. Star India’s decision in this regard shall be final and binding.

f) It is the sole responsibility of the Participant(s) to ensure that the Entry submitted does not infringe the rights of any third party including rights in any intellectual property and shall be original in form. Duplicate Entries and/or two or more identical Entries shall be disqualified from the Contest.

g) The Participant(s) shall ensure that the Entry is decent and is not immoral, defamatory, abusive, offensive, insensitive, libelous or blasphemous to any person, religious sect or section of the society, defamatory of any person deceased or alive, etc.
h) Each Participant shall follow the Twitter Handle. Failure to comply with the same shall render the Participant(s) Entry invalid.

i) Each Entry shall be judged inter alia, on the basis of its relevancy to the Contest, its originality, uniqueness, innovativeness, quality of writing and creativity and with relation to the answer to the objective question, its correctness. The decision of Star India is final and binding in this regard.

j) At the end of the Contest Period, out of all the Entry/ies received within the Contest Period, (05) five Participant(s) whose Entries are valid and compliant on the aforesaid parameters shall be eligible to win the Contest (“Shortlisted Participant(s)”). Such Participant(s) shall be randomly shortlisted using a randomizer.
