State Level Technical Paper Presentation Competition 2015:
V.P.M.’s Polytechnic, Thane was founded in the year 1983 by a group of dedicated and philanthropic visionaries of Vidya Prasarak Mandal and was subsequently recognized by All India Council for Technical Education( AICTE), New Delhi.

In its constant endeavor to impart Quality Technical Education VP.M’s Polytechnic, Thane is privileged to be one of the first accredited (awaiting renewal),unaided Polytechnic which has been adjusted as the winner of I.S.T.E –Narsee Monjee Award for Polytechnic having “Best Overall Performance” in Maharashtra state for the year2009. Achievement of academic excellence, sharing of scientific and technological knowledge, imparting technical skills to the student community and induction of social awareness among youth constitute the objectives of the institute.

About Electrical Power System Department:
Department works with the mission of empowering the students with the best knowledge in Electrical Power Systems. It has been accredited by National Board of Accreditation.

Department conducts various student oriented programmes like technical seminars, competitions, industrial visits etc. which exposes students with all round development in that area.

Department has established district level Energy Park with the sponsorship from MEDA. Department has also received a grant of Rs. 5 lacs from AICTE under MODROB project.

M.S.B.T.E always organizes, promotes and encourages various programme for students like Technical paper presentation, Quiz competition, Career fairs etc….

About The Event:
From last Ten years we have been celebrating Renewable Energy Day successfully. On this occasion we organize State Level Paper presentation competitions for polytechnic students. We provide platform to express their views related to renewable energy sources, its applications and impacts on environment.

** Energy-Future Fuel Sources / Technology
** Waste Management & Environment.
** Energy Management in Residential Complex
** Electric Vehicle.
** Energy Efficient Equipments.

Important Dates:
Last Date of submission of registration form along with Full Length Paper 6th August 2015
Intimation of selected Paper (through e-mail only) 10thAugust 2015
Date of Presentation 21stAugust 2015

Registration Fee: Rs. 200/- per paper entry.

Rules & regulations for Technical Paper presentation competition:
1. Maximum two entries per institute & two authors per paper from same Institute.
2. Paper Size – A4, Max 6 pages inclusive
of tables, Charts, diagrams, references, etc.
3. Paper should be as per IEEE format.
4. One hard copy and one soft copy of the full length paper shall be submitted to following contact persons
