inPA May Wildcraft Travel Contest :

In this genre of photography we are seeking images involving the documentation of an area’s people, cultures, customs and history. All images which are submitted between 5th May’16 to 31st May16, can be seen here.

Selection Criteria:
Top three winners selected through Jury Panel. The contest is open for submitting Images from 5th May’16 onwards. The contest is sponsored by Wildcraft.

Prizes and Awards:
** 1st Position – Rs.10,000/- worth of products from Wildcraft and 50% discount on submission of five images valid for the next month.
** 2nd Position – Rs.8,000/- worth of products from Wildcraft.
** 3rd Position – Rs.4,000/- worth of products from Wildcraft.

Terms and conditions of entry:
** The competition is open to Indian Nationals only. The image could have been taken anywhere in the world.
** There is an entry fee applicable, which varies basis number of images submitted. The higher the image count the cheaper is the per image submission fees. There is a separate submission payment plan for students.
** The competition is open to professional and amateur photographers. There is an additional section for submission by students. (Please contact us for submission fee structure for images to be submitted by students)
** Entrants may enter any category that they are eligible for, and may enter as many times as they wish, basis the submission payment plans.
** If the quality of entries falls below the required standard, the organizers reserve the right not to award the image.
** Please avoid digital manipulation such as cloning and combining of visual elements. Your photograph should faithfully represent the scene as you saw it.
** HDR images and stitched panoramas are allowed. After receiving and reviewing the RAW (original image) file, any image that is discovered to diverge drastically from the original image will be disqualified.
** Submitted images should be 1800 pixels along the long edge 300 dpi saved as jpeg with a quality setting of 12 in Photoshop. The image should be converted to an sRGB color space and must not exceed 2.5MB
** Photographs with borders, watermarks, frames, or name/signatures will not be accepted.
** By entering this competition, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display your photograph on our website, in addition to other social media websites, in connection with the promotion of this contest.
** In order to maintain anonymity, photographers will not be credited alongside their image, during the promotion of the contest.
** We may allow other websites to display a selection of the winning/highly commended images in order to publicize the results of this contest. Here, photographers will always be credited alongside their image.
** Under no-circumstance will we use submitted images for commercial gain unless it has been agreed on a case by case basis with the photographer.
