Sports United invites fitness enthusiasts from in and around Mumbai city to participate in the 1st edition of the Monsoon 10KRun. Monsoon 10KRun Chembur is the 1st of the 3 run series which will be held across 3 prestigious Clubs/Gymkhana’s in the year 2015-16.

The run will also promote and support MARD (Men Against Rape and Discrimination). The Monsoon run will be a 10kms timed race and all participants will be provided with timing chips. We are looking forward to seeing you on 23rd of August 2015. Keep Running

The 10k category is ideal for the experienced runners and running enthusiasts. This is a great opportunity to meet fellow marathon runners and clock your Personal Best times

Cash prize along with other prizes will be awarded to the top 3 winners in all the four race categories.Every participant will receive T-shirt, Finishers Medal , Refreshments.

Rs. 1000 (After 31st July up till 13th August 2015)

Participants are requested to collect their running bibs as per the schedule

Bib Collection Centre Hours & Dates:

Dates: Thursday,Friday and Saturday,20,21 and 22 August 2015
Timing: 11 am to 6:00 pm

Please ensure that you collect your bibs on the dates mentioned above. Bibs will NOT be posted to individual addresses nor be distributed on race day, i.e. 23rdAugust 2015.

At the time of bib collection, participants are requested to carry:
Printout or Digital Copy of Event Registration:
Once you register for the event, you will receive a confirmation email for the same. Please bring along a printed copy of this email. Alternatively, you can save the email on your smartphone and show it to our representative at the registration counters. Please note that this is applicable only if the registered participant is visiting the registration counters in person.

Proof of Identity:
Please carry a proof of identity in original, for example, your Aadhar card, Passport, Voter ID card, or PAN card, for verification purposes. Ensure that you collect the original documents from our volunteer before exiting the counter.

In case you are unable to come in person, your representative needs to carry:
** A printed copy of the email confirmation
** Photocopy of your (the participant’s) proof of identity, for example, your Aadhar card, Voter ID card, Passport, or PAN card.
** A photocopy of his/her proof of identity, for example, his/her Aadhar card, Passport, school/college identity card, Voter ID card, or PAN card.

Please note that your entry to this event is not transferable under any circumstances.

Rules & Regulations:

** The event is organized under the aegis of MUMBAI Suburban District Athletics Association. This will enable you to qualify for the Mumbai marathon. Timings will be recorded through Electronic method (Timing chip).
** Till 31st July 2015 fees for registration will be Rs. 800. Post 31st July fees will be Rs. 1000.
** A participant can take part in one eligible Age Group only.
** Registration will close on 13th August 2015 by 12.00 a.m midnight OR when the maximum limit of Running Places are filled in, whichever is earlier.
** Participants need to submit their choice of BIB collection centres for BIB collection.
** BIBs will be distributed on 20th, 21st and 22nd August 2015 at Bib Collection centres. Time 11:00 AM to 08:00 PM.
** The participant will have to collect the Running BIB and Timing chip from the Selected Location and within the defined period. No change will be entertained.
** Mandatory documents while collecting the BIB – i) Application acknowledgement receipt ii) proof of age for verification along with Photostat copy. iii) Authority letter for collecting the BIB of any other participant.
** The BIB allotted to the participant is non-transferable and request for cancellation and thereby, refund will not be entertained.
** Without which the participant will not be allowed to take part in the event.
** The decision of the Race Director will be final and binding.
** The event organiser reserves the right to modify the Date, Venue, Distance, Race Start time and other changes related to this event at any given point of time.
