State Level Shooting Competition :

** It has been decided to conduct Karnataka State Rifle Association State Level Shooting Competition 2016; In Small Bore Rifle & Pistol events from 22nd To 24th July 2016 and Shotgun Events (TRAP & SKEET) from 15th to 17th July 2016 at SAI Shooting Range, Bangalore, With a view to promote Sports Shooting game in the Karnataka State, and to have State Ranking.

** All Shooters from Association/affiliated district association/affiliated Club are invited to participate in this competition. Those competitors who wish to participate in this competition are requested to go through this circular carefully for their own convenience and to ensure smooth and successful conduct of the above competitions.

** Those competitors who wish to participating in upcoming All India G V Mavalankar/any pre – Nationals/South Zone, Shooting Championship in Rifle/ Pistol and Shotgun Events (TRAP & SKEET) events if he/she has achieved the minimum qualifying score as per NRAI Match Book rule 1.4 are only allowed to take participate in AIGMSC/South Zone/Any pre-Nationals – 2016

Competition Details:

A. Matches:-
1. All the matches will be conducted according to NRAI Match Book 2015 and prevailing ISSF Rules.
2. All shooters are allowed to participate in the ISSF Matches(60Shots)
3. Shooters who have qualified for National are not allowed to participate in NR matches (40 Shots),
4. In Shotgun Events 2 Rounds of 25 Birds.
5. Shooters taking part in Rifle event are not allowed to take part in Pistol event or vice versa.
6. Finals will be conducted in all ISSF Men/Women senior events (Rifle and Pistol) date and time will be given at Team Mangers Meeting on 22nd July 2016,

B. Eligibility of Juniors & Youth:-
1. Those who are below 21 years/18 years of age as on 31st December 2016 will be considered as Juniors/Youth (1996/1999 onwards) respectively for the Championship. SHOOTERS BELOW THE AGE OF 12 YEARS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN MATCHES USING FIRE ARMS.

2. All competitors entering for junior/youth events must attach an attested copy of a certificate of their age proof with their entry forms failing which their applications are liable for rejection.
3. YOUTH SHOOTERS ARE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN JUNIOR AND SENIORS CATEGORY SIMULTANEOUSLY. JUNIORS CAN PARTICIPATE IN SENIOR CATEGORY.

C. Entry Form/ Fee:-
1. Entry Forms can be downloaded from KSRA website. The entries will be accepted through respective Association/Units only. The entry fee should be remitted by Cash/ Bank draft in favour of KARNATAKA STATE RIFLE ASSOCIATION only, Kindly note that cheques will not be accepted.

2. The entry forms duly completed along with entry fee should be delivered to this office on or before 10th July 2016 for Small Bore Rifle & Pistol events and 8th July 2016 for Shotgun (TRAP & SKEET) Late entries with three time’s normal entry fee will be accepted up to 15th July for Small bore events and 12th July 2016 for shotgun events.

3. Entry fee is neither refundable nor adjustable or transferable from one match to another.
4. Protest fee: A deposit of Rs. 3,000/- to be made with the protest, the fee will be returned if the protest is upheld and retained by K.S.R.A if the protest is lost.

D. Participation:-
1. Participation is open only to competitors from all affiliated District Association/clubs/academy to State Rifle Associations.
2. In extra ordinary circumstances, the Organizing Secretary may grant permission for use of a common weapon. The names of shooters likely to use common weapon should be advised together with the weapon number to the Organizing Secretary in advance to enable him to work out details for conduct of relevant matches.

3. The Organizers will have the right to close any match or event in case of any emergency or otherwise without assigning any reason for such an action on their part.
4. All affiliated Associations/ Clubs/ Units forwarding the Entry Forms of their members are requested to see that their Affiliation Fee is paid up to date. Their Entry Forms will be entertained only after their arrears, if any, are cleared.
5. In Any NR matches participants is below 4 members that event will be considered only for MQS and no medal will be given.
6. In a ISSF matches if less than four entries that match will be cancelled.

E. Team Entry:
1. The competition will be conducted in individual and team events. Teams can be formed by the shooters of the same Association/Unit only in both juniors and seniors category’s. Final entry of three members of the team must be submitted latest by the previous day of the start of the match.
2. Only two team per association/ Unit will be allowed in each event.

F. Ammunition:
1. The ammunition will be issued to KSRA Members, Affiliated Association/club to the Team Manager only against payment
2. On request from the Secretary of affiliated clubs Arms & ammunitions will be issued to the Team Manager only not to shooters. (Subject to availability of the weapons)
3. In Shotgun events Entry fee is included Clay Birds for Competition (2 Rounds of 25 Birds each round) & Clays for official practice day will be sold on the range.

G. General:
a) All participants are requested to go through the above instructions carefully and ensure strict compliance.
b) All participants are expected to abide by the rules and regulations for the competition, with strict discipline on and off the shooting range. And if any shooters or family members disrupts matches, opening/closing ceremony or does not maintain discipline, the shooter will be debarred for 3 years.
c) In case of non-participation by the competitors after submission of their entries will not be allowed any refund of the Entry Fee.
d) All ISSF Matches will be conducted with the proper equipment and dress code in accordance to ISSF Rules and regulations, so shooters taking parts in ISSF events are requested to read ISSF rules regulations and dress code.

E. Individual and Team medals will be awarded as under:-
I 3 medals where there is a minimum of 4 entries
II 3 medals where there is a minimum of 4 Team entries
