Swachh Society Awards :

An inter-society contest (July 8, 2016 to August 31, 2016) launched to recognise and reward societies who have taken pride in keeping their societies clean, green and safe, in line with the vision of our Honourable Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi, under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan

Eligibility:
Swachh Society Awards is open to all residential housing societies registered with the following Municipal Corporation and Municipal Councils under Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR):
** Greater Mumbai
** Navi Mumbai
** Kalyan-Dombivali
** Kharghar
** Kalamboli
** Thane
** Mira-Bhayandar
** Vasai-Virar
** Bhiwandi-Nizampur
** Ambernath
** Ulhasnagar
** Panvel

The residential societies of Khopoli, Uran, Kulgaon-Badlapur, Alibag, Pen, Matheran and Karjat which fall under the Municipal Councils in MMR are currently not covered under the Contest.

How to apply?:
Step 1: Register and activate your entry. Click here to Register
Step 2: Take Section A questionnaire: This section contains 18 objective questions to be answered.
Step 3: Take Section B questionnaire: This section contains 3 subjective questions. Upload as many as supporting(s)/images of initiatives undertaken to maximise your winning chances
Step 4: Submit your entry

Important Note:
Submission of society registration certificate or a letter head mentioning the society registration number is mandatory to be eligible for the contest.

Selection Process:
The awards are meant to acknowledge societies who have taken significant and inspiring steps towards building and maintaining clean, green and safe infrastructure in one or more of the following categories:
Step 1: The entries will be shortlisted basis responses to Section A and Section B of the contest
Step 2: Shortlisted entries will be intimated on email provided by the Applicant at the time of registration. The shortlisted entries will be selected for society audit by our Partner. As part of the society audit, the Partner will visit the shortlisted societies to validate the responses submitted by them
Step 3: The final winners amongst the audited societies will be decided by a panel of jury members. The winners will be announced by November 30, 2016 on the contest website
