Google India Thursday Talkies

1. Eligibility:
The Thursday Talkies Contest (“Contest”) is open to Indian residents, who are above 18 years of age and consent to be bound by these Official Rules (“Rules”). The Rules consist of the terms and conditions on this page and the Entry Form. The opening date for receipt of entries by Google from participants is June 23, 2016.

It is a weekly contest that will be held between 11 a.m. IST and 5 p.m. IST every Thursday. The contest will run for 10 weeks and close on September 3, 2016. Only one entry per Entrant is allowed. In the case of duplicate or multiple entries from the same Entrant, then the first entry to arrive at the designated submission address (as determined by the “received by” date) will be accepted as the entry into the Contest.

At the time of submission, each Entrant must:
(i) be an Indian citizen (e.g., must be able to show proof of legal permanent residence, if asked for);
(ii) Employees, interns, contractors, and official office-holders, as well as their immediate families, of Google, its affiliates, and any representatives or agencies of Google or other persons professionally connected with the Contest are not eligible to participate.

2. Competition Period:
The weekly contest series begins on June 23, 2016. Each contest begins at 11 a.m. IST and ends at 5 p.m. IST. This pattern will continue for 10 weeks. All dates are subject to change.

3. How to Enter:
** To enter the Contest, users have to visit Google India’s Twitter handle and follow the instructions that appear with the hashtag #ThursdayTalkies.
** Once the user has carefully read the instructions and accepted the terms and conditions, they can participate in the contest by simply replying to the question(s) posted by Google India on Twitter using the desired hashtag
**  The questions would be updated from time to time during the time period of the contest, that is 11am to 5pm and the users have to answer the question within the timeframe specified each time.

4. Judging and Selection of Winners:
The user who is the last to send the correct answer will win.In the event there is no correct answer, no prizes will be awarded. If a potential winner is unable for whatever reason to accept his or her prize, then Google reserves the right to award the prize to another entrant.

Notification of Winners:
** Becoming a winner is subject to validation and verification of eligibility and compliance with all the terms and conditions set forth in these Rules. If a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, the individual who gave the second last answer will be chosen as the winner.

** The potential winner(s) will be selected and notified by telephone and/or email, at Sponsor’s discretion. If a potential winner does not respond to the notification attempt within three (3) days from the first notification attempt, then such potential winner may be disqualified and an alternate potential winner will be selected from among all eligible entries received based on the judging Criteria described herein.

5. Prizes:
The winner of each Thursday Talkies contest will receive a Book My Show gift voucher of Rs. 2,000. There is no cash alternative and the prizes must be taken as offered. Google reserves the right to substitute prize(s) of an equivalent value should the Contest prizes become unavailable for any reason.
