The Show Stopping Bride Contest:

** The Show Stopping Bride Contest (“Contest”) is a contest that allows ‘brides to be’ to showcase their candidature to be the ShowStopping Bride for Lakme Salon and win exciting prizes.

** Such ShowStopping Bride would be selected by Lakme Lever Private Limited (LLPL) based on the points garnered by the participant on her bridal profile as submitted in her Entry and the number of votes received on the Contest microsite.

Entry Process:
** To participate in the Contest the ‘Bride to be’ should submit entries for herself and two of her best friends (“ Bridesmaids”) who she wants to be featured with her on the cover page of Femina magazine and complete entry form and follow all steps for making entry mentioned on the Contest microsite (‘Entry’);

** The entries can be sent by filling out the form available on the microsite – lakmeindia.com/bridal-contest contest or one can give a missed call on 08067006014 to receive a message with the link to the microsite;
** The ‘Bride to be’ shall ensure that the names of her best friends are filled in only after taking their requisite consent to participate in the Contest on the terms and conditions laid down herein;
** By submitting the Entry, the ‘bride to be’ is deemed to have consented to these terms and conditions and deemed to have secured the consents of her Bridesmaids;.
** The entry process may have multiple steps and the participants will be required to complete the entire process to be considered as a valid Entry for the Contest;
** The contest entries will be accepted from July 07 , 2016 upto midnight of August 07, 2016;
** Participation in the contest is open to women who, on the date of entry, are legal residents of India, at least 18 (eighteen) years of age or older and will be getting married within 18 months from the commencement date of this Contest (“bride to be”).

** Employees, officers, directors and their immediate family members of the LLPL / Hindustan Unilever Limited (“HUL”) and their respective parent, affiliated and subsidiary companies, advertising and promotion agencies, legal and financial advisors and all other companies associated with this Contest are not eligible to participate in the Contest ;

** Only one entry will be permitted per person and only bride to be shall submit her Entry and name her bridesmaids after taking their consent; entries made in bulk or by third parties are prohibited;
** Entries received after the closing dates shall not be considered and will be rejected;
** There is no participation fee;
** Participant agrees and confirms that once the Contest entry is submitted the same cannot be withdrawn for any reason whatsoever without prior intimation to LLPL by the Participant. An entry once withdrawn cannot be re- submitted;

** Successful submission of Entry is further subject to checks and verifications by LLPL and LLPL reserves all rights to reject any Entry due to non-compliance of any of these Terms and Conditions or for furnishing any false, inaccurate, incomplete or misleading information;

** Successful submission of Entry does not entail any confirmed benefit under the Contest except for the Trial Bridal Make Up offer as per the terms and conditions mentioned hereunder.

Winners:

** Only One Winner and Two runner-ups will be selected in the Contest by LLPL from amongst all valid Entries which will be announced on the microsite on 30 th August, 2016 and approached by LLPL on or after 30 th August, 2016;
** Apart from the above winners, LLPL will also be selecting 1,420 winners out of the total participants who will be approached by LLPL on or after 30th August, 2016;
** The Winners will be selected by LLPL based on the points garnered by the participant on her bridal profile as submitted in her Entry and the number of votes received on the Contest microsite;
** All the participants declared as winners will be required to submit all necessary evidence in support of their Entry Form, including proof of their upcoming wedding function to the satisfaction of LLPL before being entitled to receive any prizes/ gifts.

** Non-submission of such supporting evidence and documents will be treated as non-compliance of the terms and conditions and the participant’s Entry would be treated as null and void and the participant would not be entitled to any claims against LLPL or any of the sponsors to the Contest.

** LLPL will declare the results as per its sole discretion and the same shall be final and cannot be challenged in any way or opposed by any other party or individual;

Prizes:
** All participants will be entitled to receive a trial Bridal Make-up Voucher (“Offer”). Trial Bridal Make-up services can be availed against the voucher at any Lakme Salon outlets across India (except at Lakme Absolute Salon outlets, Lakme FastnFab outlets and Lakme Salon outlets inside clubs/ gymkhana’s). Please refer terms and conditions below in relation to Offer;

** The Winner of the Contest will be featured on the cover page of Femina magazine, October 2016 Edition along with her two bridesmaid;
** There will be 2 runner ups in the Contest. The 1 st runner up will be entitled to an international travel package worth INR 1,50,000 from Thomas Cook and the 2nd runner up will be entitled to a pre- wedding photo shoot worth INR 1,20,000 from “ WedMeGood”;

1,420 winners selected out of the total participants will be entitled to one of the following prizes selected by LLPL:
i. 500 Inc.5 vouchers worth INR 1,000,
ii. 500 Reliance Jewels discount vouchers,
iii. 340 gym memberships from Talwalkars,
iv. 50 Thomas Cook vouchers worth INR 2,000 and
v. 30 Accessories from WedMeGood

** The prizes cannot be encashed or exchanged for any other gift or other prize and all prizes are non- transferable;
** LLPL is not responsible for any prize/gift delivery delay that occurs for reasons outside its control nor does it give any warranty as regards the quality or standards claimed by the sponsors;

** For the terms of availing the vouchers and prizes, the Terms & Conditions of Sponsors of the Contest apply. Please referthe same on the vouchers of the Sponsors and LLPL shall not be responsible in case of any liabilities, disputes or claims pertaining to the same.
