BRICS U-17 Football Tournament Contest :

** BRICS U-17 Football Tournament is being held for the first time in India at Goa in October 2016. This Tournament will be played amongst the five BRICS countries namely Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.

** Government of India has constituted an Organising Committee for BRICS Football Tournament, which will be the apex committee for the management and organisation of the Tournament.

** The Organising Committee – BRICS Football Tournament 2016 (OC-BRICS 2016) invites companies, creative designers, individual artists and innovators to participate in “BRICS Football Tournament Trophy and Logo Design Contest”. The logo should depict the identity of BRICS Countries with a theme related to the sport of football.

Note:
** The last date of submission is 10th August, 2016.
** The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000/-.
** The result will be announced by 15th August, 2016. In case of delay due to any unforeseen circumstances, all the participants will be informed through MyGov portal.

Contest Terms and Conditions:
1. The Competition is open to all citizens of India only.
2. All entries must be submitted to the creative corner section of www.mygov.in. Entries submitted through any other medium/ mode would not be considered for evaluation.

3. The winning design of the BRICS Trophy and Logo with tagline would be the intellectual property of the Government of India and the winner cannot exercise any right over it, after acceptance of the prize. The prize winning BRICS Trophy and Logo with tagline is meant to be used by Government of India for promotional and display purposes, IEC materials and also for any other use as may be deemed appropriate for the initiative.

4. The BRICS Trophy and Logo with tagline must not contain any provocative, objectionable or inappropriate content.
5. Multiple submissions of either BRICS Trophy or Logo with tagline by the same participant would not be considered; however, a participant may submit an entry for either BRICS Trophy or Logo with tagline or both.
6. The participant must be the same person who has designed the BRICS Trophy and Logo with tagline and plagiarism would not be allowed.
7. Please note that the BRICS Trophy and Logo with tagline of the program must be original and should not violate any provision of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957.

8. Anyone found infringing on others’ copyright would be disqualified from the competition. Government of India does not bear any responsibility for copyright violations or infringements of intellectual property carried out by the participants.

9. Participant is to make sure that his/her MyGov profile is accurate and updated since Organizing Committee for BRICS Football Tournament 2016 would be using this for further communication. This includes details such as name, photo and phone number. Entries with incomplete profiles would not be considered.

10. Organizing Committee for BRICS Football Tournament 2016 reserves the right to cancel or amend all or any part of the Contest and/ or the Terms & Conditions/ Technical Parameters/ Evaluation Criteria. However, any changes to the Terms & Conditions/ Technical Parameters/ Evaluation Criteria, or cancellation of the Contest, will be updated/ posted on the MyGov platform.

11. Participants need to submit their entry separately for each Contest (i.e. BRICS Trophy design and Logo with tagline design).

Technical Parameters:

1. Participants should upload the design of BRICS Trophy and Logo with tagline in JPEG / PNG / SVG format only.
2. The BRICS Trophy and Logo with tagline should be designed on a digital platform. The winner of the competition shall be required to submit the design in an editable and open file format.
3. Participants should not imprint or watermark BRICS Trophy and Logo with tagline designs.
4. A small description should be provided to explain the concept.
5. BRICS Trophy and Logo with tagline should be designed in colour. The size of the BRICS Trophy and Logo with tagline may vary from 4 cms X 4 cms to 60 cms X 60 cms.
6. The BRICS Trophy and Logo with tagline should be usable on the website/social media such as Twitter/ Facebook and on printed material such as b/w press releases, stationery and signage.

Evaluation Criteria:
1. All the entries received by Organising Committee would be assessed for award by the Selection
2. Committee constituted by the Organising Committee for the purpose.
3. Entries would be judged on the basis of elements of creativity, originality, technical excellence, simplicity, artistic merit and visual impact and how well they communicate the theme of the Games.
4. The decision of the Selection Committee would be final and binding on all the contestants and no clarifications would be issued to any participants for any or their decisions.
5. The disqualified entries shall not be used by the Organising Committee for BRICS Football Tournament 2016 for any purpose and OC-BRICS 2016 shall have no intellectual rights over the same.
6. Any legal proceedings arising out of the competition/ its entries/ winners shall be subject to local jurisdiction of Delhi State.
