ICTACT Youth Talk:

ICTACT Youth Talk is a student contest initiated by ICTACT devoted to bring out inspiring ideas from college students in the form of highly effective and inspiring talks.

Talk Format:
** The speaker who is going to deliver the speech has to choose a topic which will have a vital message to inspire the youth audience. The speaker is expected to deploy all the passion, energy, attitude, skills and abilities to make the speech very interesting and effective.

** The duration of the talk will be for a maximum of 10 minutes and the speaker has to deliver a power packed talk in that stipulated time which can create an impact in the minds of the Youth audience. It will be strictly time bound and the speaker should abide by the time counter.

Who Can Talk:
** The students who believe that they are equipped enough with public speaking skills and abilities and who have a passion to inspire the next generation through their effective talk can apply.
** Any student studying full-time Graduation / Post Graduation currently in any recognized college across India are eligible to participate in the contest

Topics:
** The success of the talk predominantly relies on the quality of the topic chosen. The chosen topic should have the scope for exhibiting your public speaking skills and thereby to inspire the audience.
** Thou the scope of the talk is not restricted to specific topic, the chosen topic should be non – political, non-religious and other ambiguous themes which will affect the individual personal and social values.
** The contestants must prepare their own talk which is strictly free from plagiarism.

** Real wealth is never measured in money or possessions.
** Conservation is survival.
** Real love is not the stuff of pop songs.

** Plants have feelings too.
** Junk food’s popularity relies on marketing.

** The more we communicate, the less we really say.

** To be grown up is a state of mind.

** The most important lesson of my life so far…
** Intelligence is not enough.

** Advertising targeting children is immoral.
** Real learning doesn’t occur in a classroom.
** What would you rather be – wise or intelligent?
** True wisdom comes from experience.

** Uniforms stifle individuality.
** What is normal is decided by the society we live in.
** Manners matter.
** Children should not watch television.
** Art is essential to life.
** Cities are for people not cars.
** Peace is possible.

Regional Level Contest:
Regional level contests are organized to identify the best inspiring youth speakers regionally. The regional winners will be invited as finalists to speak in the annual ICTACT Youth Summit held at Coimbatore , after getting trained in an intensive workshop to deliver the best in the Grand Finale.

National Level Contest:
National Level contest is the Grand Finale where the Title of the year “YOUTH ICON 2016” is awarded. It is conducted in the annual ICTACT Youth Summit during held at Coimbatore.

Regional Level Contest:
First Place : Award + Certificate + Finalist for the Grand Finale with a chance to Win a trip to Singapore
Second Place : Award + Certificate
Third Place : Award + Certificate

National Level Contest:
First Place : Trip to Singapore + Award + Certificate + Title “ICTACT Youth Icon of the Year”
Second Place : Trip to Singapore + Award + Certificate
Third Place : Trip to Singapore + Award + Certificate

    Why don’t you display 2016 speakers? Still the previous year talk is continuing. Why don’t you update it?
