Animals In Action Competition :

1. This Competition is organized and hosted by Sony Mobile Communications AB, 221 88 Lund, Sweden (“Sony” or “Promoter”).

2. By entering this Competition you (“You” or “Participant”) accept and agree to the following terms and conditions:
(i) the Sony Mobile Legal Notice including User Terms and Privacy Notice available at www.sonymobile.com/Legal; (ii) the following terms and conditions below together with any instructions on how to enter this Competition; and (iii) Twitter Terms and Conditions and Instagram Promotional Terms and Conditions ((i), (ii) and (iii) collectively being “Terms and Conditions” or “Ts&Cs”).

3. The period of entry for the Competition commences on Monday 1st August 2016 at 10:00 BST to Monday 8th August at 10:00 BST (“Competition Closing Date”).
4. All Participants must be aged at least 18 years old at the date of entry of this Competition. Participants cannot be legal entities.
5. The Competition is only open to residents of countries where the competition is locally available.
6. This Competition is made available to enter without any obligation to make a purchase for entry. A valid Instagram or Twitter account is required for entry.

7. The Competition is only open to residents of countries where the Prize is locally available:
Algeria, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Egypt, El Salvador, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, India, Iraq, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Lithuania, Macedonia, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nigeria, Norway, Panama, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Qatar, Romania, Russian Federation, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States (MU), Uruguay, Vietnam

8. Legal and shipping restrictions apply which may affect countries that can participate:
i. Residents of Turkey are excluded from entering.
ii. Residents of Italy are excluded from entering.
iii. Residents of India are excluded from entering.

9. Notice to Canadian residents:
Residents of the Province of Quebec are excluded from entering.

10. By clicking the ‘Enter Competition’ button and entering their details, Participants accept and are bound by the T&Cs.
11. Employees and immediate relatives of employees of the Promoter or of its respective parent, subsidiary or affiliated companies, or any other person connected with this Competition are excluded from participation.
12. To participate, Participants need to enter the Competition via the Instagram or Twitter platforms (any website and/or platform(s) and/or application(s) used to enter the Competition shall be collectively known as “the Platform”).

Each Participant has to:
i. Photograph an original image showing an animal in movement, as described across content posted on the Sony Mobile Facebook, Twitter and Instagram social media channels.
ii. Review and accept these terms and conditions.
iii. Upload their image to Twitter or Instagram using #XperiaAnimals
iv. All non-original imagery will be disqualified from entry.
v. The submitted photo may only include images of the Participant, animals, individuals You have obtained explicit legal release from and/or scenery.

13. There is a total of 5 (five) prizes (“Prizes”) to be won during the Competition. Each Prize consists of 1 (one) Xperia X smartphone with an approximate value of 599 EUR.

14. Selection of photos for display in a Facebook Album:
50 (fifty) validly submitted photos will be chosen by a panel of 3 (three) judges appointed by the Promoter based on the following criteria – originality, creativity and relevance of the photo in relation to the competition criteria as determined by the judging panel in their sole discretion. All 50 images will be displayed within an online gallery, in the form of a Facebook Album on the Sony Mobile global Facebook page.
